Exceptional stay in a perfect location

We loved every moment of our stay at Funkey Villas. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed — even providing thoughtful extras like a sewing kit and a wide range of amenities that made the stay extra comfortable. The outdoor space was a real highlight, especially the BBQ area, which we made great use of. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location is fantastic, with Camps Bay only a 10-minute walk away, making it very convenient for the beach, restaurants, and bars. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Studio apartment with no door on the toilet area could cause problems for some people.

If it’s windy, you won’t sleep.

Location was good and great view over the sea.

The place is sooooo loud when it’s windy and you can hear everything around you as walls are quite thin to the outside world. For 2/3 nights I couldn’t sleep because it’s naturally in a windy location but the walls, windows and doors all blow in and it’s actually quite scary. You can also hear dogs barking, babies crying etc from neighbours. Interior is quite dated, the door was broken on the back which meant the wind was so loud. The pool isn’t heated, so too cold really to go in.

The best stay in Cape Town

The location was excellent, with breathtaking views of the ocean, lions head and Table Mountain. The view with the folding doors open over the ocean was spectacular.

Fabulous place!

The property is beautiful and has great views everywhere you look. Super location to Camps Bay beachfront, and some restaurants/cafes even closer. Nada was super communicative even before our arrival with reccomendations and holding our luggage. She made all parts of our holiday seamless for this reason. Cleaning service was every other day.

Nothing not to like, if you're intending to use the pool bring some extra towels.

Great host, fantastic place

Lovely and spacious place with great view over the ocean from the rooftop garden. The place was clean when we arrived with a further 2 services while we were there. Very friendly hosts (Adriana and Nada), Nada was in regular contact and flexible with timings of the servicing for when we were already on planning on being out. We travelled with our one-year old daughter and a high chair and cot was arranged no problem. A 15 minute walk along the waterfront to Camps Bay. Thanks!!

Wonderful

The location was excellent, and we felt safe the whole time. The apartment was huge and so clean. Nada and Alex were so helpful and friendly. We instantly felt right at home and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is a bonus, and even though the pool was cold, our boys still enjoyed it!! We would love to stay again and would highly recommend this apartment.

If you have not visit Funkey Villas then you have not visited Capetown.

The villa had a pool and a mountain view which was perfect to take pictures.The hosts Nada and Adrian gave us an exceptional hospitality and if you needed anything they were readily available.They were also excellent restaurants nearby which were within a walkable distance.To sum it all i would say “THIS PLACE IS SUPER AMAZING AND I’M DEFINITELY COMING BACK”

Apartment Gem in Camps Bay

I cannot begin to emphasise quite how stunning the views from Funkey Villas are - we overlooked the ocean with a backdrop of the 12 Apostles and Lions Head Mountains. The property is really lovely with kind hosts who really demonstrated an attention to detail - even down to guidebooks and useful travel bits left in the property. They also very kindly had a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival, as well as helped with 5 (rather heavy) suitcases up the stairs. We felt very secure here, and the only wish is that we could have stayed longer.

Lovely accommodation and warm welcoming host!

We had a lovely stay at this accommodation! Was greeted warmly by the host! Comfortable accommodation! Host had left us a lovely bottle of wine which was much appreciated. Beach nearby. Camps bay centre a 20 minute walk but slightly hilly walk back.

We were happy staying here , the only thing we were not a big fan of was the toilet which as an extension to the bedroom just had a screen to separate from the main bed, a door would have been preferable. But apart from that we were happy with everything.

Great - I loved it!

This is a beautiful apartment in a lovely quiet area a short walk from town. The bed was amazing, the kitchen had everything we needed and there was a BBQ even though we didn't use it. I could live here, it was so nice. Camps Bay has lovely restaurants looking out to sea. We got Uber's home rather than walking back in the dark.

If I had to think of something..... the apartment we were in had a very open plan bathroom/toilet with the bedroom. We didn't mind so much but you might want your partner to leave the bedroom before using the toilet :-)

Wonderful apartment in capetown

A very comfortable apartment with a great shower and decorated very lovely. The views of the sunset over the ocean, lions head and table mountain were unbelievable. We felt very secure in the apartment the local area is lovely with a coffee shop three minutes walking for a quick coffee trip for the mornings you dont want to walk into camps bay. The facilities for self catering in the apartment were also great. Nada and Adrien were both very friendly hosts giving us tips and information when needed and were always just a whatsapp message away. The apartment even has great little touches like lots of hangers for clothes and hooks for towels etc. If we come back to cape town we will definitely stay here again as the apartment and location were just superb. Camps bay is also our favourite area we visited to stay at - great food, bars and a lovely tidal pool and beach. We stayed for our honeymoon and the apartment was perfect for this - spacious, beautiful (we felt like celebs in such a huge apartment with beautiful views) and views for days.

Good location - not far to the main area of Camps Bay and quiet area. Great hosts - Nada was so helpful during our stay; advising us of the load shedding times and car hire etc.

small thing but the shower and WC werevopen plan to the bedroom area but there was a free standing screen available to make it a bit more private so we coped with that.

The location was perfect, we had see views and the beach was a 2 min drive away. The mountain range can also be seen from the property, so excellent views all round. The private pool was well welcomed and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
