We loved every moment of our stay at Funkey Villas. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed — even providing thoughtful extras like a sewing kit and a wide range of amenities that made the stay extra comfortable.
The outdoor space was a real highlight, especially the BBQ area, which we made great use of. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable.
The location is fantastic, with Camps Bay only a 10-minute walk away, making it very convenient for the beach, restaurants, and bars. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.
Studio apartment with no door on the toilet area could cause problems for some people.

The location was excellent, with breathtaking views of the ocean, lions head and Table Mountain. The view with the folding doors open over the ocean was spectacular.

Location was good and great view over the sea.
The place is sooooo loud when it’s windy and you can hear everything around you as walls are quite thin to the outside world. For 2/3 nights I couldn’t sleep because it’s naturally in a windy location but the walls, windows and doors all blow in and it’s actually quite scary. You can also hear dogs barking, babies crying etc from neighbours.
Interior is quite dated, the door was broken on the back which meant the wind was so loud. The pool isn’t heated, so too cold really to go in.
