Estate4home - Relais Villa Chiara free parking

Very cute and clean place! It had plenty of space for the six of us, four adults and two kids, with two bathrooms, a large living room, and a spacious balcony/deck with chairs and table to enjoy the sunsets 😊 The location was good. We had parking for two cars, and it was only a 10 - 12-minute walk to the main streets and the waterfront. The only challenge was that two adults in our group were seniors, and walking back up the hill in the evening after a long day exploring was a little difficult for them. There were also no sidewalks, which was especially noticeable in the dark walking with 2 kids. However, we made it work and occasionally took a taxi back from downtown. The apartment has cute, colorful decor. At first, I thought the bright colors might bother me, but they actually created a fun and vibrant atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. Our host arrived right on time to give us the keys and was very polite, welcoming, and helpful. There are several small markets/stores nearby for fresh fruit and vegetables, a bar where you can get a morning espresso, and the amazing restaurant, Da Filippo, just around the corner (150–200 meters away). I would definitely stay at Relais Villa Chiara again!

I wouldn’t say there was anything we truly disliked. Returning to the apartment in the evening was slightly inconvenient when the kids and the older adults were tired, and it was dark without sidewalks (but the path without side walks is not that long and it is manageable). We knew about the uphill walk before booking because we had read the other reviews, and we occasionally took a taxi from downtown. Everything else was great!

I had previously specifically asked if there were stairs, as I have mobility issues. I was told there weren’t stairs. There were around 15 steps to enter the apartment. Disappointing.
