An amazing property that is run by Valentino, who will make sure you have the best time. He gave us plenty of recommendations which were very helpful. The rooms were well air conditioned and the pool was well maintained. The local town has some great restaurants and bars

Lots of mosquitoes in the countryside so make sure you have bug spray during dusk

Colazione abbondante, con prodotti freschi e genuini. Gentilezza squisita. Un luogo ideale per chi desidera staccare dalla routine, rilassarsi e godersi il silenzio e la bellezza del verde. Piscina bellissima

De eerste nacht sliepen we oorspronkelijk in een ander hotel. Hier zijn we s'nachts moeten vertrekken omwille problemen met hygiëne. We hebben de eigenaar van La sorgente di Rossi Valentino wakker gebeld om 2u s'ochtends met de vraag als we door konden reizen en ons verblijf daar twee nachten eerder te starten. Dit was geen probleem. We moesten 1u rijden dus hij wist ons de sleutel van de kamer klaar te leggen gevolgd door een online video (via whatsapp) om te laten zien waar onze kamer was. Hij heeft de start van onze vakantie gered! :) Verder netjes verblijf, alles was tiptop in orde. Ontbijt was lekker en de locatie was adembenemend!

De kamer die wij hadden genomen (voor twee personen) was een beetje klein. Maar dit zagen we absoluut niet als een groot probleem.

The host was genuinely nice and tried to do everything in his power to improve our experience (like ordering pizza etc). The breakfast was nice, I liked the selection, and the coffee was amazing in my opinion.

> The nearby restaurant is not managed by the property and only opens for groups / events. The listing saying the property HAS a restaurant is VERY misleading. I was planning chilled evenings with dinner at the property after exploring the region. By the time I tried to make a first reservation the response was "we don't manage the restaurant" - and by that time, it was already too late to cancel for free and find something else. In my opinion, the listing should be clear about this. > There are a few annoyances like being unable to sleep in the morning with the noise coming from the breakfast area (inside the property) ; swimming pool was not being maintained, and the area had overgrown vegetation (probably because it was late april / "low season"), so limited options to chill and enjoy the views. Conclusion: We spent the entire day out and only returned to sleep (after eating out), because there was not much else to do.
