Breakfast area, restaurant and common areas were clean. Nice to have a kettle in the room (although it was very slow and temperamental) and the cake plate on arrival was a nice touch. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was great but very expensive.

Ants near kettle and maggots in bin. We were told during check in that we could come down later and add breakfast for the following day for IDR 55 per person and when we went down to add it we were told that this offer had ended and we would now be charged IDR 100 per person (it had only been an hour since we were told the 55 price). No sunloungers by the pool (which are present in the booking photo) and they do children's swimming lessons in the pool which can make it feel a bit uncomfortable using the pool.

from the roof you can see the city is very beautiful.

Limited opening and closing hours at the bar. On the roof it says it closes at 11 pm but at 10 pm you are not allowed to go upstairs. If it rains the floor is slippery upstairs. There is no smoking area upstairs. The smoking area is only on the 8th floor bar but sometimes it is full in that area with meetings and also the bar closes at 10 pm and you have to go downstairs every time you want to smoke.
