It had everything you could need for a family and a dog. Milk, biscuits tea coffee etc for when you arrive. Loo rolls and hand soap. Puzzles and books.

Only thing I could say was although there was a door to outside in the downstairs bedroom it would have been nice if there was a window that opened as I wouldn’t slept with the door open.

Loved the space. The accomadation was lovely, plenty of spare pillows (which loads of places lack any) The kitchen was well equipped even though it is quite small. Lovely that the owners left us milk and biscuits which was a nice touch. The cottage was clean and tidy. With some very nice touches which made it feel more homely.

The freezer was a little bit grubby, which was a little disappointing. The coasters on the dining table were very sticky, but maybe due to the material they were made from as we wiped them down and they remained sticky. We booked through booking.com where is stated "pets stay free" no where in the booking process did it ask how many dogs we had. We booked and agreed to pay in full, even though the policy was no refund if we cancelled. Then the confirmation came through and it stated one dog allowed. I rang the number that booking.com gave me for any issues and as a contact, to tell them we had more than one dog, the man on the phone help me, even though he told me it wasn't him I needed to speak to. He spoke to the owner and everything was sorted out, but the stress of this made things a little tense.

The property was very cozy and welcoming. Everything was thought of. Previously when we have stayed in properties we had to supply our own toilet paper, washing up liquid etc but that was all supplied and nice welcome gifts. The bed was really comfortable. Excellent information left on instructions on how to use the cooker, washer/dryer and also where the local shops are. The area was so quiet and peaceful.

If I was being really picky it would be the fact the security light keep going off all night and we didn’t realise there was a blind for the door in the bedroom so the bedroom kept being lit up by it. We have black out blinds and curtains at home so the light did disturb us. The only other thing is maybe change some of the plug socket’s to add USB points for phone chargers etc.
