Did i say location? This condo is in a 'great ' location, just steps away from alii drive the main street that drives thru town along the ocean, my condo is very cute, with hawiian and asian inspired decoration, very comfortable, Condo has nice oceanview pool also with Marquee spa ( hotub) and BBQ. Turnkey with full size living room with lazy boy reclining couch, remodeled full bathroom, oceanveiw lanai, brand new remodeled kitchen, with 2 burner ceramic range top, convection toaster oven, air fryer convection toaster oven, microwave, new full size refrigerator, all linens, cable tv, internet, dvd, free phone. I stayed here for 10 days. Cute, comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped. Lots of great restaurants closeby. Krua Thai and Herbivores were my favorites. The owner was very responsive when I had questions. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was perfect for me. It was excellently located within walking distance of the town. It was extremely well equipped. It was very quiet. I had a car and was able to park it in the lot the entire time. I would highly recommend this apartment. It is especially great for a single person.

The property is a little older, which for us, was fine. The pool /hot tub was amazing to relax in after a day of hiking or walking around downtown. Without there being a dishwasher, you kind of need to check the dishes before you use them. Overall, our stay was great and the bed is super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Located in old Kona one block from the water, close to shopping and dining. Lots to do and see. There are little amenities for going to the pool, beach, hiking or picnicking. The owner has kick boards, pool towels, a small cooler, and insect repellent. The kitchenette is well stocked for cooking a meal in. The only surprise was that there is no bathroom door. The neighbors are nice and the cleaning lady is very sweet. I would stay there again. It is perfect for 2!

This place is very cute, and clean. Excellent location. Close to everything. It was perfect for us. We didn’t rent a car, no need. We had everything we needed. It is well stocked & Kitchen is perfect if you want to cook. Personally, I don’t go on vacation to cook. Therefore, we ate all of our meals out. There’s a nice breeze and we had no need for A/C, however, it has AC. communication with Toni was excellent. I recommend, and would stay here again.

Rented 3 different places. Every single time had problems with VRBO. Couldn't access anything as always said "we have no listings for that email" although I must have given them the correct one at least 6 times. Even this minute if I try to get in to the app I get the same message. I don't know why I even bother filling this review as I won't be able to see what the owner has to say about me as a renter. This is why check in got 1 star. This condo is amazing.

My wife and I stayed for the month of March and loved this suite. It had all the necessary equipment for making meals, which meant we were not running around looking for restaurants. That way we could spend more time at the pool or in the hot tub, both were clean and well looked after. For a couple the suite had lots of room but 3 or 4 people would make it crowded. We would definitely stay there again.

POSITIVE: Clean and comfortable for 2. Good Kitchen. Netflix included. Good Bed. Nice covered deck looking out at ocean and Ali' street. Great pool and hot tub. Three minutes walk from ocean. Four minutes walk to pier and tour boats. Ten minutes walk to Grocery Stores. (We had no car). Nice neighbors, Good Host. NEGATIVE: No bathroom door. Way too much furniture, room and deck. Lots of homeless people in Kona and in parking lot next door. Difficulty getting lock open first time. Would stay there again.

Location was convenient to Downtown area. Studio size was adequate for two adults (who don’t mind having no door to shower/toilet room). Requires climbing one flight of stairs. Parking was easy. Booked this as a quick, week trip. Location could not be better for walking to town, shops and beach. Suite is as described, perfect for a couple and pretty much has all you need down to Tupperware to bring food to the beach. Lanai tight but has ocean views, could even see the cruise ship when in. Friendly neighbour, pool excellent for a cool down. Owner Toni responds quick and gives excellent tips for your stay. Mahalo for our first post Covid trip!

It’s a small place. Mirrors in picture sure make it look bigger than it is. Perfect for 1-2 people. AC is loud and if you’re a person who can’t sleep in heat the AC needs to run all day and night. Bed is hard and stiff. I’d say it’s Good for a couple few nights.

Enjoyed every minute of our 2week stay. The studio is small but adequate for 2people, even with the Murphy bed down. The bed is very comfortable. The view from the balcony is priceless; I spent a lot of time watching the waves, the surfers, the canoes, the swimmers, and the different boats docking at the pier. We could walk to everything! The pool is beautiful and the gas barbecue works great. This apartment complex is very well maintained. The laundry room is very nice. It could not have been nicer!

Lots of glitches. Murphy bed is VERY difficult to operate so we just left it down which made the place even smaller than it already is. We were there for ten nights but were provided with just two rolls of toilet paper and one small bar of soap. Several light bulbs were burned out, the window fan and ceiling fan did not work at all and the small window air conditioner did not put out much cold air. There are several power strips to plug into but a shortage of wall outlets. This place is basically a small hotel studio that has fallen into a state of disrepair and could use some serious updating.

This property is all about location! If you think of it as a cruise ship cabin with balcony you'll feel comfortable. Listen to the waves or soft music from Gertrude's some nights (always done by 10). Tenants are quiet too. Definitely not a party place!! Murphy bed is very comfortable if a bit heavy to lift back upright. Couch is comfy with two recliners but narrow to sleep on. Kitchen counter and sink need some work. But all the storage and views from the balcony balance anything out! The property itself is in a small three story studio apt bldg about 36 units. All adults, working and retired mix. No elevator, beautifully kept pool and bbq area looks out towards the pier. The bldg mgr is very nice, the apt owner is reachable by email. Important during car shortage everything you need is in walking distance. Food, fun, snorkeling or swimming in the ocean at protected Kamakahonu Beach. ABC store next door for anything you forgot. Walmart about .8 mi away. Few Uber & Lyft available, so schedule rides or you may be waiting an hour...or more! Hele-on bus is easy to use, go online for schedule and route, be patient it may run a bit late. If you do rent a car- make sure to pickup at Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel if not getting it upon arrival at the airport. Most of all remember to pack your aloha spirit. Be relaxed and have fun like the locals! Aloha

Easy access into heart of Kailua-Kona town in comfortable studio. Has lot of storage and a comfortable Murphy bed. Cute little balcony. Complex with small pool, hot tub, laundry, and BBQ areas - obviously now a bit limited with COVID. Nice neighbors. Can walk everywhere, and easy to go for a run down Ali'i. I was there for over 5 weeks and really enjoyed staying here because it was comfortable, safe, and easy to get in and out. Toni, the owner, is very responsive to messages and accommodating when I had to change due to quarantine, as Hawaii delayed their opening a second time. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a great location. The pier, Alii shops, coffee “bucks” grocery with best Poke’ at sack and save, brew pubs are all in walking distance. The pool is well maintained and it’s a quiet building.
