About this cottage rental
Mansfield on the Manning is a boutique rural retreat just 3 hours north of Sydney. Set in 16 acres on the banks of the Manning River, this tranquil resort has 3 self-contained, pet friendly properties to suit couples, families and small groups.
This 3-bedroom cottage has 3 Queen bedrooms, 1 is ensuite and one of the rooms also has bunk beds. As well as the ensuite bathroom, there is a further bathroom and separate toilet.
There is a large, spacious open plan living/ dining room (with wood burning stove) as well as a well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, Smeg oven, microwave, dish washer, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, cookware, crockery, cutlery, dinner-ware and glasses. There is reverse cycle heating/aircon.
All bedding and towels are provided as well as beautiful toiletries in both bathrooms.
There is a flat screen TV, radio and free wifi.
The cottage has a huge deck with further outdoor seating, dining and a Weber bbq. The Cottage has its own firepit for enjoying sundowners and toasted marshmallows.
We provide a welcome gift for your arrival, with homemade biscuits and eggs from our free-range chickens when available. Milk and is a good selection of teas, coffees and condiments are available in the Cottage.
The property has direct access to the river for fishing and kayaking and there are huge lawn areas for your kids and pets to enjoy.
There are also 2 river view cabins with Queen size ensuite bedrooms and 2 king singles in the loft, fully fitted out with everything you need for a weekend break - or longer! Each cabin also has Aircon and free wifi.
We are just a 5 minute drive from the Pacific Highway, but a million miles away from the stresses of the City. 10 minutes also gets you to Taree and 15 minutes to Wingham with independent shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
We're a 18 minute drive from Old Bar Beach. Famed for it's fantastic surfing and laid back charm, this beach is totally unspoilt and is ideal for surfers and families alike. Beautiful Saltwater, Diamond and Blackhead beaches are only a few minutes further.
We are less than 1km from the renowned Kiwarrack Mountain Bike Forest Trail.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night family get away at Wattle Cottage. Three generations, four adults, two 10 year olds and two family dogs. There was plenty of room for everyone. The large back deck area was a day time favourite. The location and setting is perfect for winding down and relaxing. There are plenty of spaces and activities to explore - the pool and table tennis areas were favourites. Thanks Suzie and Neil.

Overall a nice place to stay and with enough people staying worth the price...
We requested early check in but not accommodated...Half of the house no a/c or fans but would re visit..

An amazing property, with an exceptional view from poolside. Suzie was amazing to chat with and we shared quite a few laughs. The pool was beautiful! We stayed in the cottage and it was marvellous, kitchen is well stocked with utensils to make cooking family dinner so easy. They also hold weddings which shown where they have the ceremony on the property would be stunning :)
