A lot to like about this place....from front desk welcoming , the rooms match 5* expectatios and more, a very comfortable therapeutic bed in a set of high quality white linen....the room setting is inviting in all aspects....pity we couldn't use the outdoor shower because of the weather😃. Enjoyed breakfast too.
There's absolutely nothing to dislike about Africanos. It's a real 5* establishment.

The rooms are okay, great size bed. Bottled water and snacks (rusks) were left every day. The restaurant menu is very extensive and the bar impressive.
The hotel has nothing around it except orange groves and fruit processing plants. It is on a busy main road and is anything but peaceful and tranquil which is how it is advertised. Once you have visited Addo National Park there is very little else to do unless you’re into zip lining and the like. This is not a “country estate” it is a contemporary style building which is in need of some TLC.
