Stairs are a little steep with no elevator, but the old world charm makes up for that.

Authentic, charming, central, clean, tidy, welcoming.

Lovely authentic apartment with a lot of charm. You just feel like you are living in an Italian home (you actually are 🙂). The presentation is great and you can tell the host Alissa takes pride in this home. Everything was clean, tidy and welcoming. As you come up the stairs (quite steep 🙂) there is some nice decorations on the landing and a sign welcoming you. Alissa even laid out chocolates on the bed and dining table. The apartment has everything you need and you could be fully self contained on your holiday if you wanted (except washing but a laundry is not far). Opening the window you can see and hear Piazza Repubblica so couldn’t ask to be more central. Highly recommend Appartamento Il Loggiato if you are staying in Cortona.

If we had to find something, there was not enough soap for our 4 night stay.

Fantastic characterful and traditional apartment in the heart of historic Cortona.

The communication with the host was excellent, including key collection, and the apartment was historic and typically talian, right in the heart of beautiful Cortona, near restaurants, bars and shops.

The bed was very short! (And I’m not tall!) Everything was old, but if you like that style, it’s charming. Beware of the stairs. They are steep and narrow. I didn’t mind the exercise, but others may have difficulty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Appartment Il Loggiato in Cortona.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Appartmento Il Loggiato. The host family was VERY welcoming, kind and helpful. They answered questions quickly, and helped us with many things in so many ways. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and pots, toaster, coffee makers, countertop oven, and generous refrigerator. The apartment was warm and cozy. The shower was great with excellent water pressure. Both the bed and sofa-bed were comfortable. We had absolutely no trouble with the wi-fi. Cortona is a hill town, most apartments are on upper floors, as well as this one, with 2 flights of stairs. There are MANY restaurants in Cortona, and they are all good, most very good or excellent, with one of them even right outside your door. Alissa and her parents were so very welcoming, kind and helpful, from the information and tips she helped with before we got there, and her and her family meeting us when we got there, to helping us experience the olive pressing season, and so much more. (Thank you so very much!) They are the heart and soul of this beautiful apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Appartment Il Loggiato in Cortona, and already hoping to go back next year. Grazie mille:)

Everything! The nice welcoming from the owners, the apartment is beautiful and very comfortable, it practically has all you need to have a nice stay. The owner was super nice and was very helpful guiding me to have a pleasant stay in the amazing beautiful town of Cortona! I really felt at home! I Strongly recommended it!!!

A wonderfully designed, clean, comfortable space in a great location! Perfect from start to finish!

We loved it! Alissa was amazing. She made me feel so welcome and excited to come and stay in this wonderful apartment, always answering my questions and being super helpful. The apartment itself was a dream. Super clean, with lots of fresh linen and plenty of space to relax and unwind and enjoy our holiday. The bedroom was so cute and comfortable and the living space was perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast or watching TV or reading. Lovely ambience, decorations, and lighting. The location was perfect! A characterful, safe building literally just off the piazza and with a great view of all the action in the square. It was vibrant but also the windows had thick shutters so we slept very peacefully and comfortably too. I am so pleased we picked this wonderful apartment over staying in a hotel. It really added to our experience staying in Cortona and I would definitely come back!

The Perfect Accommodation at the heart of Cortana

The host was very friendly and helpful from the first day we booked the accommodation. The apartment was right at the middle of cortana Square, it was perfect. I stayed at the apartment with my husband and 2 kids, and the space was spacious compared to staying in a hotel. The room was clean and comfy , and the best part was the host had these little post it notes with recommendations for places to eat and stuff, which for me find it super helpful . 😀 We plan to comeback to Cortana again and will definitely come back to stay here.
