The accommodation was just perfect, very spacious and well set out. The site was great, my grandchildren loved the pool and the playground. The staff were very friendly.
I loved hearing the cows mooing all the time, but my husband not so much. Haha The shop prices were very expensive

Absoluy beautiful stay
Absolutely beautiful Cottage we also had family staying in the main farmhouse there was 18 of us in total. The Kitchens were very well equiped . The bathrooms in Oak apple were very modern with really lovely showers. Mind your shins if you are staying in the double bedroom. The wooden bed base sticks out wider than the mattress and we both caught our shins on it more than once. I would highly recommend twelve oak cottages. We went in April and the heated pool was not open. The little camp shop was not open but there is a big Tesco less than 5 minutes drive away. The owners had left eggs and muffins for us and there was washing up liquid cleaning cloths, T towels and oven gloves provided. I would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family. It is a working farm so expect some farmyard odours

It was ok, the site is well laid out, neat, tidy and clean.
Good, clean and well laid out site. In easy reach of local amenities. Plenty of hot water in walk in showers. Large property enabling all the family to sit and chat in the evenings.
For a self catering stay, the kitchen items were sparse. No Salt or Pepper for example in the cupboards. Other holiday cottages supply kitchen foil, wrap, cooking oil etc as part of kitchen essentials. Pity only one bedroom has a double bed. Walk in showers, water easily goes everywhere and you have to watch you don’t spray the toilet roll. Master bedroom shower, adjustable hose shower head holder on the slide bar, fitted upside down so you can only make it spray upwards not downwards. This makes it hand held only, can’t be used in situ.

We all had an excellent stay
Highly recommended, . Home from home. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness. Milk and fresh eggs waiting for us on arrival. In the summer months there’s a pool. The children would love it here. And close to everything
There was nothing I could fault. Lovely waking up to farm life. Would definitely stay again, and take my grandchildren next time.

Disappointing could be more homely. Left a day early
House has a spacious lounge area and bathrooms, underfloor heating is cosy once warmed up. Newton Abbot was pleasant, nice market town with nice pubs for drink / food
Left a day early - disappointing break. Overlooked by other houses, near a dairy shed on a farm with noise, smells and tractors. Part of a big caravan park. Swimming pool was closed which wasn’t as advertised. Outdoor area not private and looks onto the road / parking / park entrance near farm sheds. Bedroom windows etc just looked out at vans and bins. Rooms have bare walls, odd colours and the sofas / beds were dated. Beds were soft and springy. Towels were very small, barely cover your bits! Small things like nowhere to hang your towel either. Sadly it just didn’t feel homely and felt more like a lounge area in a rental car company office.

Great location and lovely accomodation !
Location was great, perfect for our weekend kayaking on the dart. Plenty of space and beds. Accomodation was nice and quite modern. Hosts on the farm that we met were very friendly. Lovely welcome basket of fresh eggs and milk which went down well.
Only a couple of minor things; - Pipework makes some loudish noises when heating goes on. - Had to strip our own beds before leaving.
