The Byre

It was in a lovely place, very peaceful. Had everything you needed. Was lovely and clean and when we arrived was pleasantly surprised by some home baked cakes for us as well as some yummy biscuits both that went down very well. We also forgot some hats that were hung up and Liz immediately posted them back to me. All in all a great holiday was had.

The only things I could mention and they are very minor. We couldn't get tv to work in bedroom but we wasn't fussed about it. The fan in the bathroom once light was switched on seemed to run for ages and as I'm such a bad sleeper every time partner needed toilet it kept me awake. We tried to manage by using bedroom light through the night which worked ok.

Having just come from a different accommodation to this one, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean, tidy and homely this felt. The instructions to get there were clear, the key pick-up simple, and the property was fabulous. We thought the rooms were nicely decorated and furnished, with plenty of tea and other bits & bobs supplied too. The courtyard was nice and a safe space for our dog to run around in. And we were a short walk from some lovely countryside. All in all, this was a great place to stay.

There is not really anything we weren't keen on to be honest. Oh...read the oven/cooker carefully as I accidentally grilled our pizzas. They still tasted great, but would have been better oven cooked haha.

Brilliant little find!! Everything you need in great location for me. Also nice touch with the fresh cakes they were delicious

Bad smell of dogs, smelly bathroom, cooker smelly and had get the owner kettle as it was furded up. Also a old blood stain on the quilt cover.
