We liked the quiet location and the very well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable.
We appreciated the snacks, milk and butter.
It was also great to have a washing machine.
Very steep steps to the living room and then to the bedrooms.
The salt and pepper was empty and the table sticky and we couldn’t find a cloth to clean it.

Great little cottage with good cooking facilities nice dining kitchen on ground floor
Nice lounge and bathroom with good shower on first floor
Two nice comfortable bedrooms on second floor
Could do with a coat of paint on the outside of the porch

Host was super kind and friendly and lives in the flat next door. When we arrived there were a few necessities which was much appreciated. There was a foot paths and the scenery incredible. It is also a lovely friendly town with the oldest sweet shop in England. We also hosted some friends, and the kitchen was well stocked with the necessary utensils.

A very well equipped and spacious kitchen/ dining room; thanks for the milk, butter and crisps upon arrival! Comfortable beds and sofa. Useful set of maps, leaflets and printed walking routes, and strong wi-fi.
Whilst the bath tub was clean, it was also quite old and stained which was slightly off-putting. A few cracks in the walls which could easily be painted over to re-fresh the cottage.
