Delight in the spectacular beauty of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty when you book this cottage near Bewerley, 3 miles from Pateley Bridge. Sleeping five guests and offering pet-friendly accommodation, the three-bedroom, single-storey holiday home is part of a Grade II-listed farmstead and looks out over the scenic Nidd Valley. With picturesque walks and beauty spots all on the doorstep, the cottage, which has a patio for outside relaxation, is also just 14 miles from the vibrant Victorian spa town of Harrogate.
Return from your expeditions through Nidderdale to the comfort of this inviting retreat. Gather in the lounge/diner together to relax, play games and watch the TV or a DVD. Head through to the kitchen to cook up the tasty fresh Yorkshire produce you have sourced in Pateley Bridge then gather round the table through in the main room to enjoy your feast. When the day draws to a close make your way through to one of the bedrooms. These include a double, with en-suite shower room, a twin and a single. There is also a family bathroom here. The cottage enjoys access to a shared laundry room on site. Spend warm afternoons out on the patio and dine out here too on summer evenings. There is ample private parking for the property.
Head into Pateley Bridge, which is the start and end of the Nidderdale Way, a circular, long-distance route that runs for over 50 miles. Browse in the colourful shops here, visit the Nidderdale Museum and find a broad array of eateries to choose from. Visit the famous Coldstones Cut, a great sculpture you can walk through, which is set high above a quarry 3.5 miles away. Head 4 miles to see the National Trust’s Brimham Rocks, with its unusual rock formations and dramatic moorland.
