Filthy and dirty just awful!!

The filthy dirty and disgusting house. The stained mattresses with human hair. The urine and faeces stains on the wc. The dirty and rusty lids on the cooker. The filthy and dirty sofa. Basically the interior of this house needs putting in a skip. We arrived to a filthy car parking space with rubbish scattered everywhere. The owner stated it was due to foxes but no other house nearby had the same problem. We could not stay in such filth and fortunately found a hotel nearby. If you are thinking of staying here....DONT! We insisted on a refund which we eventually got but had no apology from the owner as she was only concerned we did not leave a bad review. All in all a disgusting filthy dirty house.

Nice enough place in itself but unfortunately not for us

Very spacious

Cooking was a challenge as no hob ( the aga had broken) also couldn’t get any heating in the place as the weather turned quite cold,even the electric radiator didn’t work in the bathroom, the garden was very overgrown and with the rain we had going up the steps to the car we got absolutely wet through! need to get the trees and hedges cut as not fun trying to get past them when it’s been raining, we also couldn’t see the handrail as they were so overgrown and as the steps are so steep you really do need it!!

Exceptional

The cottage was spotless and beautiful. It was much bigger than we expected - it's unusual to find a cottage with four double bedrooms with four double beds (two are in the attic). The owner left us a lovely welcome pack which included milk, ground coffee, butter, Welsh cakes and some gorgeous Snowdonia soap. A bottle of water was cooling in the fridge and ice in the ice box in the freezer The sofas and beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The cottage is in a perfect spot for the castle and town and close to the dunes and the beach. The sunset views from the front door were outstanding (the attached photo was taken from the front door).

The cottage was perfect with all the basic amenities and equipment required. We missed not having Wifi in the cottage

Location, views, space. Amenities. Well stocked kitchen.

Only issue was trying to find the cleverly concealed key safe and the pre admin of dealing with the company renting out the cottage who were not very responsive. Also raeburn stove was a bit difficult to use and not very efficient. Insufficient towels provided. Other than that a lovely spot and nice cottage.
