About this apartment rental
This well-furnished, clean first-floor apartment is conveniently located on a quiet side street in the village of Bar Harbor. For reference, we also have two other separate rental units on the first and second floor of this 3-family turn-of-the-century home. The house is just steps away from the Bar Island Trail, the Shore Path, Harborfront, Village Green, restaurants, shops, grocery store, cinemas, museum, banks, post office, drug store, and all village amenities.
Bar Harbor is a walkable destination, with connector trails to Acadia National Park, and a free Island Explorer bus service located nearby at the Village Green.
The Hideaway unit has off-street parking, an entry foyer, a living room area with L shaped comfy sofa, and a Smart Roku TV, where guests may log into their own streaming and cable accounts. The living area opens up to a fully appointed kitchen with herbs, spices, coffee and tea, and all the miscellaneous kitchen tools and appliances just like home. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea at the cafe table for two as you plan your day's adventures.
The spacious bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed, bedside tables, and reading lamps to wind down the day as you rest up for another adventure.

Wonderful stay all around. Excellent location. Easy walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Beautiful neighborhood for evening strolls. And the tidal bar to Bar Island was just down the street. Plus the host was quick to respond and very accommodating. We would certainly stay here again!

It was the perfect little apartment right in the heart of downtown Bar Harbour. It was perfect for walking to everywhere we wanted to go!

This was our second stay at Kim and Doug’s place. Absolutely perfect place, spotlessly clean, well equipped for cooking and very central in the town of Bar Harbor. We will be returning!!

Outstanding! Perfect location- can walk to shops and restaurants and easily bike to Carriage Bike Trails. Very clean and stocked with everything: coffee, tea, honey…Grocery store is 3 minute walk away. Owners were very responsive and super helpful. I didn’t realize there was a storage closet with extra towels. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc but other then breakfast, we ate out. I would highly recommend for anyone who visits Acadia/Bar Harbor. Thank you!
