Spacious apartment in prime location!!

Prime location, clean, very spacious, on a canal. Lots of small shops around and in the heart of Venice.

Bed in main bedroom needs new matrass. Extremely uncomfortable, and i had to sleep away from my husband on a single bed in different room. No cutlery found. (Spoons, knives, forks, scissors?) Doors needs a proper clean specially bathroom door on inside is very dirty.

On the good side : communication easy and fine location (city-center).

On the bad side : The room doesn't look anything like the photos : very dark, very humide, not clean (traces of mold in the bathroom, spider webs). The bed is super uncomfortable. Huge disappointment.

No air conditioner Could have been cleaned better eg spider webs on ceiling above bed. Also suggest putting insect wire on windows so that they can be open more with no mosquitoes able to enter.

Smaller than expected, not worth the money.

The location is fantastic right in the heart of Venice and less than 5 minute walk from the Rialto bridge and shops. Also very near a supermarket.

The apartment is meant to sleep 4 people but the only toilet to use is in the master bedroom as an ensuite which is not very accessible for everyone and the door did not close properly, so privacy was an issue. The apartment is much smaller than in the photos and I hope you like walking because it's up 3 flights of steep stairs to get to the apartment. We also had an issue with the main door and only 1 person out of 3 of us could figure out how to unlock it. Overall I wouldn't stay at this place again but I've you're just looking for a place to crash in a central location with basic amenities it might be ok for you.

Bed comfortable. Comfortable overall.

No hot water for one day. Very little storage for clothing. Booking confirmation through booking.com very different to what was explained through messages. The cost of cleaning was not clearly explained. I felt confused totally and after 24 hours of travelling too tired to have an argument about it.

The worst night spent ever at a hotel!

Nothing! Even the good location couldn’t compensate

First: we didn’t like that we had to pay money for late check-in. The room was really really cold as the heating was not working at all. We were told that the thermostat works until 11 pm and from 5 am on but this doesn’t make sense as outside is 6 degrees and is December. And how come knowing that you will have guests arriving in the evening, nobody checked if the heating is working?! “There are as many blankets as you wish” didn’t help much as we slept with our clothes! Also, the air conditioning was “ at your disposal” but only in the summer as the heating option was not working. When we took the additional blankets they were really dirty, there were red stains on them. We had to wait 10 minutes for the hot water to appear. The sheets and the blankets smelt awful. There were people’s hair all over them! On top of that, there was no daylight in the room as the shatters were not able to be opened at all.

nightmare

The location is pretty central, 5’ away from Rialto and 6’ away from San Marco square

We had booked a 35 square meter apartment at the ground floor, which looked totally different than what we have got at first: a 10 square meter filthy room (at the 1st floor), with cracks on the walls, mold in the bathroom, stains all over the place, dust and spiderweb (keep in mind the 50 euro CLEANING FEE). My son has asthma and we could not stay in a room like that. Horrible! After a few hours of texting and calling at the property, we got another room which STILL was not what we had booked, but it was spatious and more clean. (not clean-clean, but rather liveable). The staff continued to text us and they tried to make us feel like we should be grateful that they had “upgraded” us, at no aditional cost, at “last minute” . A horrible atmosphere for all our stay, taking into consideration that we had paid over 400€ for our 4 night stay. We had literally felt like we were on a 3rd class ship back in time. I do not write reviews, but I feel like I have in order to save other booking fellows from ruining their holiday. Do not recommend this place.

Lovely apt in perfect location but the sleeping conditions were not perfect.

The size and location of the apt were perfect. It was very clean and cosy. Communication was very easy.

The bed was falling apart and the mattress was uncomfortable for sleeping.

Very Stressful !

The Location , everything was close by.

1. They sent us the wrong direction which we could have dealt with if it hadn't been after at 11pm. We dragged all our 5 pieces luggage and cross a bridge similar to the Rialto Bridge from the boat taxi that we were instructed. Before we cross the bridge a bystander offered and no choice but we had to accept his help ( luckily the rain wasn't pouring) . When we crossed the bridge, he asked the address and it was the other side where we came from. He then called the hotel . A staff confirmed that it's a wrong address ( he is a staff of same company) . The guy who offered his help ( Jasner , a Sri Lankan ) told him to come and take us to the apartment. I spoke to the staff and he was giving the instruction that we have to ride another boat to go to the apartment. I demanded to come and take us there. I told him that we followed their instruction that we road a boat taxi approximately 30 minutes . When he arrived , again he said it's only 5 minutes from the boat station but still I insisted and took us there together with Jasner who was helping us. We bought another 2 one way tickets that costed us €9.50 each and we decided to contact the femake staff ( who sent us the wrong direction) to following day . Before we pass the barrier of the stayion , We gave tip to Jasner but he refused to accept because we thought that he will leave us to the male staff but he came with us still to help. In the boat, the male staff admitted that he never been to that apartment. When we arrived in the boat station , we found out that he didn't know the address and we wandered looking for the address and he was using already a Google map. Around 130 am when he found the apartment but it was on the second floor ( 4 landings ( approximately 15 steps per landing ). The advert was first floor apartment. I have neck spondylitis and my partner is using a walking stick. We had to carry as well our hand carry that I ended up flat in bed the following day.

Exceptional

Mosquitos made it impossible to have the windows open so magnetic screens in the bedroom windows would be good and cut your power bills as wouldn’t need to use the aircon as much. The wine was lovely and convenient. Loved my stay.

We enjoyed Venice and didn't pay much attention to the negative details of our stay.

The apartment was situated in a beautiful little street between Rialto and S.Marco. It had a canal view and definitely a Venetian spirit. It had one living-room that also was a bedroom for my friend and a tiny bedroom with a bunk bed that was mine. On the day of our arrival we were met by a charming girl who gave us the keys and explained the rules. It was a quiet place in the center of the city.

The first night of our stay it rained for about an hour and I woke up in a wet bed. Both, the upper and the lower beds were wet from the rain. And there was another apartment above us! It was a mystery how the water got in. We called the owners and they came and turned the matress and changed the bed linen, but the problem was still there. So we asked them again when there was rain in the weather forecast. They came immediately, put some plastic on a half of the ceiling, so the water came again! But this time we were prepared and put a sauce pan under it. We were also prepared to spend a sleepless night, but luckily the water only hit the floor. We stayed one week and nobody came to clean the rooms or change the towels. Probably our fault that we didn't ask if we should take the towels with us from home, but they gave us the clean ones on the day of the arrival though. There was no dishwasher in the kitchen and no light above the sink and the stove. There were two tea cups and one of them had a crack. No hair dryer either. And when I came home I got an e-mail asking if we had taken the hairdryer with us.
