The beauty of the beachfront and the softness of the white sand on the feet. Saltwater is healing to the body so being able to walk in the surf on the sand was relaxing and energizing. The locals/staff are welcoming, happy, caring and we loved talking with them. They know how to make their tourists feel at home.
Barbados is fairly pristine in the resorts however it is severely run down and neglected over much of the Island. Other than the highways, the roads are full of potholes, no shoulders and deep ditches await should you err or attempt to put distance between you and opposing traffic. Items are more expensive so budget accordingly.

The breakfast was great! I would say the meals in general. The atmosphere was great. Staff was kind and friendly, and they were accommodating. I would love to go back there someday.
The only thing about this category is that there always seem to be a problem. However, the staff was able to be on the ball and rectify any issues we had.

The meals were delicious - full of flavour and variety.
Nothing - service was with a smile and the food danced on the palate.

The staff were warm and friendly. The activities for the kids were great - kids really enjoyed kids club, ice cream shop, water sports, and the beach/water.
The rooms and facilities are outdated. The food quality was average at best.
