The location and many pool options were amazing.

As much as there are so many restaurants, the food is mot the best and the staff members seemed exhausted all the time so most of them at the restaurants were not very welcoming and nice.

The variety of activities, the beautiful landscape, the staff was amazing.

The only disappointment we had was at the Merry Monkey Irish Pub. Due to a “rude” host named “Jack” which we addressed with the management. Even with that occurrence, other staff members (Amber & Janelle) stepped in and took excellent care of us. Also the following day (Justin) the general manager also stepped in to follow-up and continued to provide excellent service to us. Overall, the staff was friendly, welcoming, polite, and accommodating. This was a great experience.

The only part we were disappointed in was the ocean swimming. There really was none I had to go down the beach to another resort to do some wave surfing. Otherwise all was good.

Restaurants - there were a lot of good options

The toilet in our room took four flushes before everything went down. The staff are hit or miss. Some are really nice - the ladies in the spa were brilliant. Some seemed like they were annoyed. We waited almost an hour for breakfast one morning at portafinos. At the steak and seafood restaurant, the aircon started dripping, I informed the waitress who made a comment about it dripping regardless and said I could move to the other side of the same table. The flagship pool was closed which wasn’t mentioned on the website. There’s more I could go on about.
