Wish I was there!

Excellent location and spectacular views. Extremely helpful and thoughtful hosts. A small shop nearby (only cash) and a supermarket and a bakery on the other side of the bay which are easy to access by the free* ferries that run nonstop. *(Only if on foot).

The noise from the ferries can be annoying after a while (My personal opinion, though! My partner found it even relaxing and charming!). Some noisy guests that liked smoking on the balcony, which spoilt our experience there. However, none of these are the host's fault. :)

Nice accomodation with amazing view as in the pictures

Very nice apartment with gorgeous view; completely matches the pictures what you see. Helpful and pleasant owners. The location is also very nice and calm; supermarket is on the opposite side of the bay (with the short ferry, which operates very frequently 24/7)

If you have no car, the buses are not frequent and reliable (there is a schedule, but drivers don’t follow it; waited almost 1h40min for the bus, which is supposed to go every hour.

The views over the inlet are magical. Lots of boat activity -yachts, cruise-liners, ferries. Close by swimming beach was lovely.

Amazing location with stunning views. Would advise anyone who wants a location that is quiet but still have access to Tivat which is around 10 euros and kotor 25 euros. A free ferry two and from across the bay is also handy. Hosts where so helpful with taxis and providing fresh towels and other things. The apartment is clean. You couldn’t ask for any more.

Not a dislike but expect to walk up some stairs. I didn’t mind as it’s great exercise.

Perfect

We were greeted by the host and her son (who spoke perfect english) on arrival. Then given a rundown of not just the apartment & its many facilities but also the local area. The owners responded quickly and to any queries we had - about anything really & honestly made our trip. The view from the personal/ private balcony was really breathtaking & the shared area / terrace was truly beautiful. Thank you for making our holiday so special, we would highly recommend these apartments :)

Wonderful gem in a quiet spot on Kotor bay

This was a fabulous find in a quiet location on kotor bay . Perfect base for visiting other places in the day with the most wonderful terrace and bbq for dinner in evening . Bus stop 2 mins away and ferry to other side of bay on the doorstep. The family couldn't do enough to make our stay special. We have travelled a lot and I can honestly say this is one of the best apartments we have stayed in

what a great Appartment. from the view (best of anywhere I have ever stayed to the excellent welcome and assistance when needed this is a gem of a property. Appartment had everything needed to cook a meal, was comfortable and whilst small is perfectly formed. about 5 minutes from Tivat this has better views, better vibes and better surroundings. an absolute must stay!

can be difficult to find - but someone came to the road and found me and helped me to the apartments. would recommend you add black out curtains for the summer

Superb

A Perfect place for people who appreciate their independency, eventhough you're not alone. The little village offers all you need with the forest behind, the bay in the front and in between the appartment with a magical view. This is an authentic spot with presence of all elements of nature, where local habitants keep their traditions and work hard to achieve their propper goals. The view from the balcony would make you forget about all the rest, but honestly the appartement offers all you need: a private entering to the appt, a shower with good water pressure and temp.reg., all the kitchen stuff you need (but don't forget to bring your own coffeemaker), a good bed, silent airconditioning,.. Desa and her family will always be available to help with any questions, but if you don't have any, you'll be able to enjoy your stay in all its serenity. I was very pleased to stay with them for 10 nights, and recommend the appartements to all people who value serenity, peace and quietness.

The location is not so close to the center but if you want to relax and enjoy it is the best option. The view is amazing. The room has a small cithen and all the services you need if you go to the vacations. 100 percent recomemnded. You should go by car because I am not sure if there is a public transport,

Lovely apartment overlooking the bay, wtih amazing hosts!

It is possible that this apartment has the loveliest hosts in all of Montenegro! They were kind, helpful, and ready to answer our every question, with excellent English! The apartment also offered a detailed sheet of facilities in the area (shops, beaches, etc.) as well as a list of the apartment rules (including tourist registration!). Having these in other apartments during our travels in the Balkans would have been a great help, and it's really good that the hosts in Okuka thought about it! Otherwise, the apartment is overlooking the main road to Tivat that goes around the peninsula (you know, the one that is either 1 lane or 2 lanes every 100 meters ;) ), but it is further up the hill, so you would not hear the traffic much. Tivat is 5 minutes by car, the ferry is 1 minute on foot, and you could even find a pretty good beach in 10 minutes walking distance. The apartment is located on the side of the hill, so you cannot get there by car - you would have to park on the shore, and walk up about 100 steps to the apartments. But this is a small price to pay for the view! As you may expect, the apartments are not huge (in fact, they only include a bedroom shared with a small kitchenette, a bathroom with toilet, and a balcony with a fantastic view of the bay / ferry / hills.) But the bed is comfy, you can wake up with the view of the sea outside your window, and (I learned to highlight this about Montenegro) excellent hot water pressure. ;) The kitchen is functional, you can cook if you want, and you have your own fridge, too. There is air conditioning, and a flat TV (that we did not try, actually). Overall, I can only recommend apartment Okuka for a shorter stay or if you don't mind the small (but excellent) room. It is a great place and a great value for money, and the hosts are really the best!

Oh dunno, some people may be disturbed by the 24/7 ferry not far from the apartment? We did not have any problems with the windows closed though.
