Parkview Apartments

Location, very close to whakapapa View of the mountain is amazing Layout of the apartment is great Amenities are good. Has everything we needed for a comfortable stay

A few little niggles, the tv lost wifi connection frequently, the tumble dryer didn’t work, some things were a little grimy like a comforter on the one bed and the eating utensils needed to be rewashed. Just little niggles but overall the place is great.

The location is excellent for the Ruapeho- Tongariro adventure. The apartment is warm. Very clean and an unhampered view of the mountain from the tall glass wall.

Perfect place for family of 5 - stunning views in the countryside but close enough to get food and see the sites of the national park

Only complaint was there were no dish cloths but we managed

The location and view were fantastic and the reason why we booked this property. The host was lovely, she helped get the lockbox open over the phone as it was a bit tricky and allowed us to check out late which was very much appreciated. All along the communication was good and the apartment was comfortable and cozy. Overall we were really happy with our stay.

The upstairs was very warm and all the heat from downstairs seemed to end up there, leaving the bedrooms quite chilly overnight. The kitchen was well equipped however, we arrived to find a large number of peppermint teabags but no normal tea, coffee, hot chocolate or sugar. After having had to walk to the apartment in the rain this was very disappointing. There were ample towels etc. but no facecloths. There were also no toiletries which was OK as we had brought our own. None of these are big things as such but they did detract from our stay a little, especially considering the cost of the two nights.
