Maple Grove

The location of the cabin is excellent allowing guests to enjoy a quiet, peaceful and beautiful environment. The room and bathroom is spacious and the cabin has everything for self catering. TV has enough channels for entertainment should you wish to stay indoors. Lyndsay met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. There also is a lovely undercover deck to enjoy the beautiful garden. Spotty (one of the dogs) accompanied us on our walk along the Maple Meander and we really enjoyed him.

The road through Hogsback and up to the cabin is somewhat of a challenge but small vehicles can do it easily - just don't be in a hurry

We had a wonderful stay at Maple Grove. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The chalet was exceptionally comfortable, cosy, and well-equipped. Our children loved it so much that they hardly wanted to leave the chalet to explore Hogsback! We left feeling refreshed and with beautiful family memories. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed in the cabin, which is the smaller of the units, but so comfortable and cosy and more than adequate for the 2 of us. It had the lovely Hogsback charm to it! The bed has electric blankets was super warm and comfortable. The shower water was lovely and hot and a strong water pressure. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one needs ( 2 plate gas cooker, air fryer, small microwave and fridge). There were panel heaters on the walls and a fire place which made the cabin lovely and warm. Wood is available on site. Our unit had a private deck and small braai. The accommodation is set in a spacious garden which was lovely to walk around and listen to the birds and we had undercover parking. Our hosts were so friendly and made us feel welcome and at home! My first choice for accommodation when I come to Hogsback!
