Very disappointing

It was clean

Simply our worst experience out of any accommodation we have ever stayed in, pet friendly only applies if your pet is mute and doesn’t make a sound. They claimed our dog was barking even when he wasn’t at the apartment, so they cancelled our reservation with no warning. Far from the beach and the bed is incredibly uncomfortable. You can hear every noise from other guest rooms, even the toilet flush. Truly a disappointing stay.

Great stay with a nice view and friendly hosts

We had a great stay here. The view from the apartment was lovely and we appreciated the free parking. The room was spacious and comfortable. We traveled with a dog and paid an extra EUR 5 per day. Nearby there is a small market and a very nice bakery. You can reach Albatros Beach and Mala Plaza on foot although the pedestrian paths are limited in some areas. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Wonderful place and owners

The owners were warm and welcoming, they even helped us get safely to the bus station. We had pleasant conversation and they checked in on us. The apartment was very clean and spledidly decorated, it felt like home. My full recommendations.

The room was clean, you have parking spot, and the neighborhood was quiet.

The location was far away from the Long beach (the main beach from Ulcinj) but you have the Small Beach at 20 minutes by foot. Also, it was on the top of the hill so get some sneakers with you.

Spacious, modern and well equipped apartment with big terrace. We had wonderful time with a family and would highly recommend Lungo Mare to others. Host is very kind and supportive - thank you one more time for a great stay!

Relaxing stay in Ulcinj with view to the sea

Value for money was excellent and Jackie is a phenomenal guest. Makes you feel at home right away. We arrived very late but he was still waiting for us although he had left instructions for self-check in. Brought milk and food for us when we said we had not had a chance to have dinner (it was close to 1am! When he was doing this). The apartment is nice and quiet with vie to the sea. Parking is free in the property.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. The property was great. About Ulcinj in general, this is a beautiful little town that grew too fast without infrastructure. Don’t try to drive through the city. You’ll get stuck in a monster traffic jam and there’s nowhere to park. Best park a bit before the city and walk down.

One of the positive highlights during our stay at Lungo Mare Apartments was the owner's responsiveness and willingness to accommodate our needs. When we requested to extend our prepaid stay by one day, they promptly and efficiently arranged for an additional room, which was a thoughtful gesture that left a positive impression. The invitingly comfortable beds in both rooms provided us with restful nights, allowing us to wake up refreshed. We appreciated the peaceful ambiance of our first room, nestled in a quiet corner of the hotel, offering moments of serenity that added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Unfortunately, both rooms had cleanliness issues, including dirty dishes and a grimy sponge left in the first room, and noticeable signs of previous use in the toilet of the second room. While the owners did send a cleaner promptly, it was disappointing to encounter such problems during our stay, affecting our initial impression. The owner's defensive and unconvincing response to the cleanliness issues was bothersome. Instead of acknowledging the problem, they tried to convince us that the stain was a goo and substances in the toilet was bleach, despite the absence of typical bleach smell. While acknowledging it could be a cultural difference, we found this insistence on explaining or defending unnecessary and unrequired confrontation. We were left disappointed when, just five minutes after inspecting the unclean toilet, the owner demanded payment from us. It was evident that we had no intention of leaving without closing the bill, and all while the toilet still needed cleaning. This experience made us feel like the owner's priorities were not focused on customer satisfaction.

Disappointing stay

The price is reasonable. It had parking.

There were several issues that created an unpleasant stay. Firstly, we had difficulty finding the place and sent several messages. We only received automated replies and so did not have any help or guidance when finding the place. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes even though it says no smoking. The hot water ran out after one person showered and we were a family of 4. The beds were not comfortable. The worst part was the horrible treatment from the woman who runs the place. The apartment advertised “laundry service” and so we spoke to Jacky who assured us our clothes would be washed and dried on time. There must have been some misunderstanding and confusion with communication, despite me being very clear, because when I messaged about getting my clothes back, the woman gave us a basket of bunched up wet clothes. We were checking out the next day and I was worried about packing wet clothes. When I tried to talk to her about what her husband told me about my clothes being dried, she became angry, rude and yelled at us. She repeatedly interrupted me and I had a really hard time trying to communicate with her as she clearly did not want to listen. It was quite shocking that she responded so harshly and yelled at me over this situation. Communication and guest services are clearly lacking. I do not recommend.
