Great location and nice feel

No breakfast or facilities for breakfast to warm up food which was tough with a baby

The room was clean and comfortable and there was a restaurant and pub on the premises. There was also a Tesco nearby. Easy access to the city and the airport.

The room needed a small, round table, two chairs and a microwave to allow hotel residents to dine in the room.

Nice location on the canal with lovely walks nearby. Staff were very helpful and friendly and really made the experience of staying there a good one. Good pub food

The music in the outside area was too loud. There was no particular event that evening but the dj was playing music much too loud for a relaxed waters edge venue. You couldn’t talk to the other people in your party easily. It could be heard in the rooms too but didn’t prevent us sleeping.

Location of room through outside drinking area. Arriving on a Friday afternoon there were several groups of men, it was hot so they had no shirts on which wasn’t pleasant As a woman I felt intimidated having to squeeze between them with my case while they were smoking and drinking and looking us up and down. The room was sold as air conditioned. Unfortunately it only had a noisy portable air conditioning unit which is designed for a much smaller space. The room stayed unbearably hot all night despite us leaving the aircon on while we went out. We opened the doors and one small window when we got back. We appreciate we were staying during the hottest weekend of the year, but feel we were mid sold on the air conditioning statement - the unit wasn’t fit for purpose in a bedroom.
