- close to the ferry port - close to super market to get your breakfast & dinner - fjord view from the window - free parking outside the hotel

- too old building, too used facilities - too dirty everything, dust everywhere and many flies in the room - when you enter in the building, there is a room on your left with used shoes and smells horribly awful - personnel absent - below basic and poor breakfast payed extra per person - recommended to skip it - hostel paid 150€ per night

Convenient and very practical choice with a view

All rooms have views of the water, but the upstairs ones (like ours) are much better. Room, though a little spartan, had plenty of room and everything worked well (including wi-fi). Dinner was available - set time and limited menu but very convenient and we enjoyed it. Beer and coffee etc. available. The hosts were low-key and efficient.

Not really a dislike, but I note that this hotel is certainly geared towards hikers/mountain bikers etc.

A home for mountain lovers and adventure seekers

A lovely home base for mountain lovers and adventure seekers. The vibe is very friendly and reminds me a little of the mountain lodges or huts you find on the Alps, but with a lot of comforts too, like wifi, private rooms, and bathrooms. The shared kitchen facility is excellent. The common room has a beautiful view of Lyngenfjord and is a wonderful place to eat your meals and relax at the end of the day. The owners are friendly, as are the other guests.

Older Finnish man (probably stuff's family?) was really nice and helpful.

The curtain in my room didn't work and woke up really early because the light and couldn't sleep anymore. I try tell about this when I check out but stuff didn't really care...

This Lodge is a great place to relax! It's calm, cosy and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. A well equipped kitchen and a cosy living room. There's a nice Sauna (extra fee), which we really enjoyed. The hosts are attentive, friendly and like to give you some tips for discovering the surrounding nature. Thank you for this great accommodation!

It was anything missing for a pleasant stay. The refreshment after the sauna would have been a bit easier if there would be a shower but it also worked out well with the buckets.

Rooms are basic but good, breakfast is excellent (Finns note, porridge!), superb views from room and extremely nice owners and staff. The lodge is also super bicycle-friendly which was a huge ++++ since we were bikepacking.

Uh, erm, the pencil to mark your stuff in the fridge was dry so there was that "issue". Maybe consider adding options for vegans to the breakfast.

the owners are super nice and take excellent care of the guests. we felt very comfortable and well guided. guest kitchen available and well equipped - in case you need to refuel outside the breakfast/dinner hours. facilities are great, we found everything we needed (bike wash, small workshop..)
