superb view onto the Lyngen mountain panorama right out of the living room, perfect for watching the northern lights; spacious, clean and well equipped; helpful and friendly owner; rented snowshoes for one day; only < 1 h of driving to Skjervoy, < 20 min to Olderdalen ferry dock
we visited in winter with a lot of snow and ice, the driveway was extremely slippery due to its incline, we even had problems with our car trying to drive off (got help from the owner though); approximately 60 m between house and parking

Einzigartige Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick auf den Fjord und die Lyngenalpen. Geräumiges Haus mit umfangreicher Ausstattung im landestypischen Stil. Ruhige Lage, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in akzeptabler Entfernung. Sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Idealer Platz zur Beobachtung von Polarlichtern und für Ausflüge im Auto in die wunderbare Umgebung.
Vor Anreise war der Kontakt zum Gastgeber etwas schwierig. Trotz Bekanntgabe unserer Kontakte erhielten wir keinen Code für die Schlüsselbox, bzw. erfuhren überhaupt nicht, wie die Schlüsselübergabe stattfindet. Erst als wir vor verschlossener Tür standen und den Gastgeber glücklicherweise telefonisch erreichten, gab man uns den Code für die Schlüsselbox bekannt. Von da an allerdings hat der Kontakt durchwegs reibungslos funktioniert und war immer freundlich, hilsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Terrassentür müsste dringend isoliert werden. Im kalten Winter zieht es stark durch die Ritzen, was die Wirkung der Heizung und des Ofens etwas mindert. Noch etwas: In der Beschreibung von Booking.com wird eine Sauna erwähnt. Die gibt es allerdings nicht!! Dies ist eine falsche Angabe.
