The location is super convenient for early morning flights.
It was ridiculously small. The shower head was literally over the toilet and you showered in the bathroom!

Finding the hotel was a bit challenging for us. We had to ask for directions several times. But when we finally found the reception desk, the agent was very warm and welcoming. He served us efficiently and got us to our rooms in quick time.
What we loved about our room -
It was very clean and quiet with an excellent view of passing aircraft and a few trains in view.. The bed was wider and longer than expected with a firm mattress and comfy bedding. The air-conditioning was excellent, and the lighting was good.
The room was quite small, but there were several mirrors strategically placed to make the space seem larger than it actually was, so I didn't feel claustrophobic at all.
It's amazing, but this small room held our 2 checked pieces, 2 carry ons, and 2 hand pieces, and we still had space to move about.
The large TV was in a great spot to view content from any of several channels while relaxing in bed.
The location of this hotel is the best. Just a few minutes from several restaurants and the airline check-in counters
I would definitely go to the Bloc Hotel Gatwick again.
We really enjoyed our 1 night stay there
Only next time we may go for a larger room
The only thing that we didn't really like was the layout of the bathroom. The toilet is literally placed in the shower. Too close not to get soaking wet when we tried to take a shower. Weird!
