About this house rental
Charming, two level, house high up in the lush, green area of Kokkini, just outside Marmari, with a long beach stretching , 2.5 klms below. House overlooking the bay, offers stunning sunset views and privacy in a beautiful, large, Mediterranean garden. Main floor is an open space design with living room, kitchen-dining room area and a two step-up bedroom, with two single beds, bathroom and separate W.C. Futon couch opens up to an extra double bed. Walk out to patio and garden and down some steps, you will find a separate, private furnished accommodation with double bed, dining table etc, breakfast facilities and small fridge, shower and W.C. It also enjoys its own patio onto the garden.
Main cottage is fully equipped with washing machine, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and utensils while both units are supplied with linen, towels, hairdryers and breakfast necessities.
The house is 2.5 klms from long pebble beach with trees and 4 klms from small port village of Marmari with supermarkets, restaurants and bars while it is just 20 mins away from the larger port and town of Karystos. As house located on a hill, car is a necessity and property has private parking area
Half an hour from Athens airport to the port of Rafina and one hour on the ferry will take you to Marmari on the island of Evia. Ideal resort for peaceful holidays in nature where you may enjoy swimming, snorkeling, fishing, scuba-diving, walking or hiking the Dinosaris canyon out of Karystos.
Long term renters welcome, children welcome, pets considered, smoking is O.K., not suitable for people with physical mobility difficulties, wheelchair inaccessible.

Ein überaus gemütliches sehr griechisches Haus, beste Lage, wunderbarer Blick, sehr ruhig. Sehr nette Vermieterin.
Der Weg zum Strand ist zwar nur mit einem Auto bewältigbar, ca 2-3 km stelenweise eher steil aber das stört überhaupt nicht.

Im Juni 2019 haben wir 17 schöne Urlaubstage im Haus von Iphigenia verbracht. Das hübsche auf einem Berg nahe Marmari gelegene Ferienhaus ist modern, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der fantastische Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer, unvergesslich die Sonnenuntergänge. Ein großer Badestrand, teilweise mit Baumbestand, ist nur 5 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Als sehr angenehm erwies sich die schnelle Fährverbindung von Marmari nach Rafina, von wo es nur 30 Min. bis zum Flughafen Athen sind. Iphigenia ist eine großzügige, angenehme und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns mehrfach wichtige Hinweise gab und uns tatkräftig unterstützte. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaubsplatz!

Situation exceptionnelle de cette maison en balcon sur la mer Egée, plein Ouest, donc une très belle vue sur les couchers de soleil. la maison est très agréable, silencieuse, , offre toute les commodités, avec un espace ouvert sur la terrasse dun jardin exotique. Située sur les hauteurs de marmari et de son port, il y souvent une brise ou du vent, parfois un peu fort, qui permet de ne pas souffrir de la chaleurNous avons passé 3 semaines très agréables, reposantes, avec un acceuil très chaleureux de la part de la propriétaire, Iphigenia.Le port de marmari reste très grec et traditionnel. Nous avons trouvé de nombreuses plages alentours, de criques diverses et variées qui ont gardé leur côté naturel.Laurence et Frédéric
