It was clean.
Apparently the host upgraded our booking to a ‘deluxe’ room (purple decorations, top floor, left). Avoid this room. Wish we have requsted our originally booked room. Why? after we have climbed lots of stairs to this upgraded room, we discovered a not so great room: bathroom has stairs but no ventilation - the vent is not working; you cannot open the window in the room as it has no mosquito net and will end up with mosquitoes and flies in the room, as we did. There is no hot water to take a shower, and you almost touch the celiling to take this cold water shower. And what does the host say to these? that we have been upgraded…
