Good clean location for us hikers but email communication failed causing confusion and upset

I messaged the property for more details about how to get in but didn't get a reply. There was no one there when we arrived and several chalets had keys in the door and were prepared so we took one. Then another family arrived and were upset that we had occupied the chalet that was apparently allocated to them. Then the host arrived but didn't speak English so there was quite a bit of upset, even though the chalets were virtually identical. The other family asked why we hadn't phoned. In hindsight this might have been sensible but we don't normally phone places when abroad and the language barrier would have made it more difficult.

Very good. Quiet, out of the town, beautiful neighborhood. Everything that's needed in one of the small but functional houses.

Not sure about the WiFi Internet, we couldn't connect, but we didn't contact for support and decided to use our own GSM Internet instead.

Amasing place, love the idea of having wheelbarrow for a sunbathing chair:D... And proper mattress to lie down around the pool. Deffinitelly place for nature lovers:)... Plants, flowers.. Trees.. Goats and chicken in a background

We didn't actually know there are 4 houses, so the pool is to share between them, luckily we were the only one we stayed there, so it didn't make any difference:) Would be nice to have an electric kettle :p

Beautiful and secluded gem

We loved the garden and the secluded feel of the accommodation. We explored the plants and really enjoyed the scenery. The garden is so well maintained and beautiful. The host seems to be a plant whisperer, everything is growing beautifully and we loved smelling the different blooming flowers in the evening.

It is a bit difficult to reach the place and you have to be prepared to bring along your own food, decpite the cooking conditions being below average.

Ir was an exceptional stay! Beautiful house on a mountain slope. With beautiful surrounding garden and a swiming pool. It felt authentic. Perfect getaway to relax in the nature. We left speachless when we arrived. Can’t get enough good words for the place!

Located in the countryside with a very good view. The area of this Cotijo Nuevo ist done with many many cute & beautiful details.

I slept in the upper bed & that matrass was a bit "lied out". And also after 5 minutes of running water I only recieved cold.

Small one room house in silence place. Very clean, comfortable beds, air conditioning, washing machine and very friendly host. There is nice swimming pool place for the summer days.

Accueil très chaleureux par Milagro, piscine et terrasse super et vue incroyable sur la montagne.

Les routes menant à la propriété sont assez accidentées et peuvent impressionner. Mais sur la propriété le chemin est parfait pour circuler et manoeuvrer.

endroit calme et charmant dommage pour la piscine

le calme ,la climatisation , le charme , les plantes

la soit disant piscine privée qui ne l'est pas du tout puisque elle est partagée avec les 3 autres maisons. et surtout ce qui ressemble a la fille de la propriétaire qui squattai la piscine tout les jours vers 17h30 avec ses enfants donc pas de piscine a partir de 17h30 car la piscine fait 4mx4m et le calme espéré anéanti

El lugar es un espectáculo para descansar. El cortijo super limpio. Lo que más nos gustó fue la zona de la piscina con sus hamacas y camas.El aíre acondicionado de maravilla.

Mejor ir desde Cuevas de Serrato, el camino esta en mejores condiciones.

Ótimo alojamento rural no coração da Província de Málaga!

Gostei de tudo. Foi uma estadia muito agradável. A propriedade é bastante central se você quiser explorar a província de Málaga e, acima de tudo, é uma opção bastante barata comparando com outras propriedades que não deixa nada a desejar em termos de qualidade. A casinha é bastante simpática, otimizada para as minhas necessidades e com um espaço exterior perfeito para os serões. Pareceu-me tudo muito limpo. Repetirei se for possível.

A Internet é inexistente embora isso não m tenha incomodado. A verdade é que por estarmos no campo, numa propriedade verdadeiramente rural, e por causa do calor encontrará muito insectos e mosquitos principalmente de manhã e à tarde (por isso não matem as osgas, se lhe aparecer uma em casa). Como fiquei por três dias também seria bom que a senhora fizesse a troca do lixo, muito embora eu próprio o tivesse feito. Por último, não siga as indicações do google maps se for de carro, coloque Cuevas del Becerro que é a vila mais próxima, e daí siga para a casa.

oase van rust!

De locatie is mooi en erg rustig met een prachtig uitzicht. Huisje was schoon en netjes. Vriendelijke eigenaar, spreekt alleen niets anders dan Spaans.

Bij aankomst was het inchecken nogal onduidelijk. Na vragen aan andere gasten begrepen we dat we de eigenaar moesten bellen. Deze vroeg mij of ik engels sprak (in het spaans) om vervolgens alles in het spaans te vertellen. De sleutel bleek in de deur te zitten van huisje 4. Welk huisje nummer 4 was hebben we zelf maar uitgevonden, staan geen nummers op. Er is geen mogelijkheid om afval weg te gooien, geen procedure waar dit gelaten moet worden. We hebben uiteindelijk onze afvalzak maar aan het hek gehangen. Die werd netjes door de eigenaar meegenomen later op de dag.

Huisjes van hostel-achtige kwaliteit

Het lag op het ideale punt op onze GR5 route. Het is een klein huisje met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt.

Het was (in maart) koud en klammig toen we binnen kwamen. Het heeft de middag en avond geduurd voor we het enigszins op temperatuur hadden.
