Ibanova Appartements

Location was outstanding, just a minute from the harbour and a 5 mins walk to the fort. Although small, it was comfortable, quiet and had all the amenities we needed, including great a/c. Morgan the host was responsive and attentive.

Finding the property and parking tricky - I wouldn’t want any bigger than a compact (for English speakers, Sauf Riverains = Residents Only and OK to drive there) Read the fine print on booking - have to pay extra on site, in cash, for towels, sheets and cleaning.

We really enjoyed the location! Very close to everything! The apartment has decent for a two night stay (bathroom, kitchen, bed and balcony). You get a free parking spot.

I wish I had read the reviews more carefully, as the host did not disclose until much later in our conversation that guests were expected to bring their own sheets and towels or rent them for an additional fee, so we brought our own (sheets 25euro and towel 10euro). Only one hand towel and one bath mat were provided, which made me wonder whether laundry access was an issue. There was also no hand soap in the bathroom, so we had to purchase our own. What was especially frustrating was learning just days before our arrival that we were required to clean the property ourselves (empty the garbage, sweep and mop the floors, and clean the fridge and counters) or risk being charged a cleaning fee. When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want is to spend your limited time cleaning, particularly with a 10 a.m. checkout.

Difficult to gain access to the property on arrival. Extra charge for basic bed linen and towels seems excessive and the penalty of an additional 60 euros for not sweeping the floors seems unnecessary.

Location good and had a carpark (although difficult to find)

The separate bedroom was unusable - we could only stand up in 50cm of the room. The Internet was virtually non existent
