This is a delightful fisherman's cottage with a private courtyard located in the heart of Collioure with all the amenities that the town has to offer on your doorstep

Unfortunately, our stay was let down by the poor/inadequate housekeeping. We were a family of four with only two towels provided. The host directed us to a storage room to the side of the property where we managed to find a third towel. We ended up buying a fourth towel. The bed sheets were also limited and insufficient for the single bed and sofa bed. Soiled linens and towelling from the previous guests had been rolled up and left in the storage cupboard by the kitchen area. On the evening before check out the host infromed us that as we had not opted for a check out clean we would have to wash all the floors, clean the bathroom and kitchen units, place all the used bed sheets in a corner of the property and then take the rubbish out to a dedicated rubbish point in the town. We explained to the host that there was absolutely no mention of this option/requirement when we made the booking. These aspects ulitmately undemined our holiday stay. It did feel like the housekeeping was being managed by guest to guest. If the owner put just a bit more attention on the housekeeping and invested a bit on new towels and bed linen we would have given our stay a ten. There is also no microwave at the property; and the booking description indicates that the single bed is in the bedroom - this is also not the case
