The towels were nice and fluffy. They smelled really good. What laundry detergent do you use for them?!
It wasn’t the cleanest. Lots of crumbs and debris inside the kitchen drawers. The upstairs shower drain was full of hair and muck which backed up the water and was very slow to drain. The deck rails are very loose and a safety hazard. One of the wall outlet covers was broken and our toddler kept trying to poke his fingers inside. Also, the listing advertises a king bed but there wasn’t one.

The property is great! Very clean and quiet and we had a blast roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The washing machine and dryer worked great and the water temperature and pressure were excellent- even if each of the three showers were occupied at the same time. The kitchen was stocked with essentials like coffee, oil, and seasonings. The game room is excellent and we loved playing the ring game on the main deck. Beds and couches were comfortable and the house allows us to spend time together but also allowed for privacy.
The driveway and stairs leading to the street were difficult for my mom who has some slight mobility issues to get up and down. A railing on the stairs and a packed driveway would have been helpful for her. Additionally, the kayaks and frisbee golf amenities were out of commission, not necessarily a dealbreaker but it was disappointing to not to have had any notice before we packed our swimsuits. We also had a hard time finding the best access to the lake without trespassing on other properties or through club members access. The dvd selection is great, but the player in the dining/living area was jammed and would not open or play. Also, we were unfamiliar with how the ferry to and from Anderson Island worked- a suggestion: Post the ferry schedule on the refrigerator with a note stating that it is wise to queue up for it (with a car) about an hour in advance. The dishes are sufficient for a group our size (5 adults) but we were hurting for bowls, spoons, mugs, cups, and baking dishes. It would be helpful to have a comprehensive list of kitchen supplies so guests can plan accordingly, especially with needing to go off the island for a proper grocer. The wifi was strong when we needed it, but had to reset the router once or twice a day.

We loved the house and facilities. We liked the games room. It was very nice for the kids and the adults. Every thing was clean and the staff that we communicated with was very helpful and always answered our messages promptly.
The only thing that could be improved on would be the pots and pans (they lacked lids) and the cutlery (kind of poor quality)

My grandparents had a house on the island when I was growing up, so I was so excited to get to stay over here. The house was located close to the restaurant and golf course which was important to me. I loved all the Anderson island art work on the walls. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The house being dog friendly was also a major plus!
The lock on the door was a little confusing and the way the PIN number is phrased we weren’t sure if we were supposed to use the code to unlock the door itself, or use it to get the key out.
