Royal Ferenciek Apartment

This property was set up perfectly!! All rooms are very spacious and the balcony/ views were amazing!!! The location was great as well. The beds were very comfortable!

This wasn’t a huge issue for us, but the building is very old and there was some trouble with the lift occasionally not working. The apartment is on the 3rd or 4th floor and there are lots of steps. If someone has trouble walking, I may look elsewhere. There were also a few bugs with this being an old building, but that wouldn’t turn me away because of how great the place is.

Perfect location and perfect apartment.

An absolutely fantastic apartment equipped with every convenience you could wish for. A comfortable living room with an excellent kitchen, two cozy bedrooms, and a great bathroom. Through an adjoining door (which was open for us), there was another tastefully decorated apartment in itself, featuring a second kitchen, a nice basic bathroom, and a comfortable bed. I thought it was a fantastic idea that the bathroom drawers were stocked with partially used shower and personal care products — we gratefully made use of them. The apartment was even equipped with the smallest thoughtful details. There were reading materials, sewing supplies, and even earplugs in the bedside table. The location is perfect: directly opposite supermarkets, about 200 meters from the Danube and the bridge to Buda, and with a metro station just a few meters away. If I ever go to Budapest again, I would happily stay here once more. The instructions for entering the appartement were clear and easy via a door code to enter the main area and another code for the key safe next to the appartement door.

Absolutely no reason to let this put anyone off, but if I may mention one thing: the air conditioning could use some attention. During our stay, it was around 26°C outside, and we couldn’t get the apartment cooler than 21–22°C. If it turns out to be a hot summer, I hope the air conditioning will be sufficient.

Good location adjacent Metro, supermarket and sightseeing.

Some beds were uncomfortable, no proper sleeping pillows, one bathroom had mouldy shower curtain. Not enough loungeroom seating for number of beds. Air con was difficult to operate and some of us slept poorly because of heat. Hosts were slow to respond to requests. Dishwasher was in poor condition.
