It started terribly. Was told we couldn’t move but once toilet found broken we could!

We know and like the location

A LOT! No lighting anywhere on arrival. No heating on. Fridge turned off then leaked. Patio doors leaked. Towels were damp and smelt awful. Heating no on even though knew what time we would arrive. Property needs an overhaul as very tired. Paid for wifi, wasn’t working. Toilet completely broken. When we reported the issues and asked to move to another unit (due to the above issues plus my 75 year old mum has asthma and recovering from pneumonia) and the place stunk of damp, but we were told we couldn’t as no others were set up for use and were being redecorated… once we found out the toilet was broken we were offered 2 of the other units (the ones they said were being redecorated). One had no wifi and was tiny. The other was larger than our booked one and had other issues (heating and TV not working). It took 2 full days to get the issue sorted… in the meantime we received an email with a bill to pay the extra as we had been moved to a larger unit! We weren’t told then when we moved and shouldn’t have had to move if the original one had been liveable. Most of the cups had chips out of them, it was not as clean as should be. Again decor etc very tired! Have been visiting since they first opened and each time more is wrong with them but with promises of them being redecorated/refurbished…. Won’t be revisiting until we know for sure it’s happened now. FYI we were told on ur last day they would be ‘waiving’ the extra fee (lmao) and we were also offered 20% refund as a ‘gesture of goodwill’.

Property seemed a little 'tired' - in need of a bit of TLC.

Would have expected a bigger TV to reflect size of property. Draughty through patio doors when wind was bad, and toilet door rattled when wind was up.

Disappointing as was not cleaned to an acceptable standard

We love Marazion

Cleanliness of property was not an acceptable standard , from arrival at the front door/key box which was covered in cobwebs and generally looked dirty and uncared for . On entry It was clear someone had been to check the place as a pint of milk was in fridge and mop in bucket was damp, but it had not been cleaned anywhere near a good standard. It's just so disappointing that after a long journey you walk in to find somewhere dirty. Good money was paid to stay for the 3 nights. Cooker hood is disgusting with thick grease all down the sides, bin hadn't been cleaned, corners of rooms, lights, walls had lots of cobwebs . We did a sweep around the ceiling and lights with the broom, as couldn't find anything else to clean it with . TV stand and lower layer of coffee table have not been cleaned for some time. A proper sweep of kitchen/living area was required to remove bits. Couldn't use ice box, too frozen up. Outside of windows were not clean (this could be down to the recent storm) but sadly the insides are dirty too! What a shame as this could be a really lovely property.

Great little hideaway

Property was fantastic, had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of cups bowls etc, dishwasher and washing machine were an added bonus. Next to beach and coast path, 5mins drive to Penzance. Was able to add an extra couple of days on as we enjoyed our stay so much!

When it was very windy, the sea facing windows were a little draughty.

Perfect

So close to the beach, property was clean and fully equipped and lovely comfortable beds. Perfect location. Other reviews mentioned the trains but i can honestly say I am a very light sleeper and this was not a problem. It was lovely to be able to hear the sea at night.

If I had 1 small grumble it would be having to leave by 9am, 10am would have been nicer

Exceptional

We couldn’t wish for better location. Only few meters from lovely, sandy beach, 20 minutes walk to st Michael’s Mount. Spacious rooms and large living area. Kitchen very well equiped. Private parking space. We had great week long Easter holiday with our children. Thank you we will be back!

Двойная Кровать очень подвижная, узкая и короткая. Мои ноги свисали, мой рост 170. Нужно ее зафиксировать, при перевороте на бок изголовье бьет о стену и будит. Нет фена, это разочаровало. Бокалы были грязные. Заезд в 4 вечера, выезд в 10. Требования уборки слишком велики. Вам прийдется встать пораньше, чтоб потратить пару часов на уборку, которую они хотят. Ни один отель не просил меня снимать белье с кроватей, использовать посудомойку последний раз ночью, чтоб все разложить и она была сухой (как интересно завтракать?), выносить мусор, подметать и мыть полы за 400 фунтов стерлингов за 2 ночи.
