Pension MONO - Adults Only

The location was amazing, the staff was lovely, and the room was even nicer than the photos (especially the bathroom). Wonderful stay!

Unfortunately we were visiting during an unprecedented heatwave and there was no AC. We closed the curtains in the morning and opened the windows at night, and there was a fan, so it was okay.

Air conditioning during a huge heat wave. Conveniently located to the main part of town. Very modern and updated for a very old little village.

I wasn't expecting a modern hotel in Cesky Krumlov, it's a few blocks from the city wall and it felt like we were in our own little corner of the town. It's a new building, with AC which was very useful during the heatwave

New and cleanit

I was given a loft room with airconditioning because the air conditioning in the bigger room is broken down. The loft room is too small for 2ppl. Bed is smaller, room and bathroom are squishy with vaulted ceilings and one beam pole in the middle of the room and the other beam is next to the shower. The air conditioning makes noises every 15 min and I did not sleep well and tried not to bump my head against the vaulted ceiling or run into the beams. The room was probably not being used for a while and was dusty. I coughed most of the night from it. Thankfully I was moved to a bigger room (the one where aircon is broken down) also in the loft which is way more ccomfortable. The prices in CK had come down considerably in the website and reception couldnt move me to better room on the lower floor which I thought would be fair considering I paid more before the prices came down. It’s a shame having travelled all the way from Australia 26 hr flight and being inconvenient this way. I was told other rooms in the lower floor was fully booked but surely there is room to jiggle or perhaps not bothered to . Also CK was unusually quiet that weekend. There was no tea or coffee or kettle provided.
