I was bitten by those bugs in about 10 places, including behind my ears, on my neck, arms, and ankles. The bites are hidden by my clothes during the day, and if they were mosquitoes, I would have noticed them flying near my ears. The pillow smelled moldy, and there was also a distinctive smell coming from the bed frame. It’s a shame because the staff and service were good.
