Sudamala Resort, Senggigi, Lombok

Boutique hotel. Intimate. Friendly staff. Not a big resort.

Unfortunately it does not have a gym / fitness centre.

We chose the Sudamala Resort in Senggigi for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. From the very first moment, we felt truly at home; everyone—from the manager to the entire staff—constantly pampered us, showing rare kindness and attentiveness. The property is impeccably clean throughout. The staff was consistently exceptional, ready to accommodate any request or change without issue, and whenever a minor hiccup arose, they stepped in immediately to resolve it with the utmost efficiency. The cuisine is exquisite, too—and what can we say about the dinners by the sea? Dining right by the water creates an incredibly romantic and magical atmosphere. Furthermore, the spa service is fabulous, featuring extraordinary massages that left us feeling truly rejuvenated and relaxed. The warm hospitality and the magic of the place made our honeymoon unforgettable. It was truly difficult and sad to check out and leave this little slice of paradise; we hope with all our hearts to return soon. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sudamala Resort Senggigi. The villa was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I especially loved the outdoor shower, which gave the villa a nice tropical and local Lombok feel. The beachfront location is also perfect. It’s really nice to be able to walk straight from the resort to the beach, and the whole place has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of my favourite little touches was the evening service. Every evening, the staff brought fresh fruit and some small cookies to our villa, together with a little pamphlet telling a local story. Such a simple thing, but it made the stay feel a bit more special and personal. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Probably the breakfast. Some of the food was good, but some dishes could definitely be improved.

Sudamala Resort Senggigi is an exceptional place to stay, offering a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and warm Indonesian hospitality. The villas are spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, creating a peaceful atmosphere ideal for relaxation. The staff consistently go above and beyond, making every guest feel genuinely cared for. The beachfront location is stunning, with calm waves and breathtaking sunsets that make every evening memorable. Breakfast is delicious, with fresh local ingredients and plenty of choices. Overall, Sudamala delivers a truly unforgettable experience that feels personal, luxurious, and deeply relaxing. It’s a resort I would happily recommend to anyone.

My only minor disappointment was the rocky beach, which made swimming less comfortable, but everything else at the resort was exceptional. I still can swim in the warm pool.
