Hotel Metropol

The cleanest place i stayed in a long time. Really amazig, great cleaning staff!

The only problrm was refrigerator, which turns on and off and is really loud. Woke me up a few times!

Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy, room design was very well thought out, bed and pillows were very comfortable, quiet, great value for the money! This hotel certainly seems new, nicely renovated. Would absolutely stay here again.

Well appointed room, comfortable bed, very clean, large bathroom with good lighting, thick towels & hot water.

Nobody was on duty at reception when we arrived at 6:30pm on Friday.. We accidentally bumped into the owner/manager who was leaving as we arrived. She was very nice, showed us how to use the elevator, pointed us to our room, explained how to leave the key in the room when we left. If she hadn’t been there it would have taken us MUCH to get to get situated.

My room was clean and quite comfortable

The first thing that I have to underline is that, apparently, no one in this hotel can speak English. All of the emails I received were, in fact, written only in German, even the most important ones containing the instruction to enter the hotel. I had also written an email in English to them asking for some important information, and never got a reply. I did not understand a word and had to use google translator, which should not happen, since this structure is an hotel with, I believe, some international guests who don’t speak German. I had some troubles on the day of my arrival opening the door of my room, and, of course, nobody was here. I called the emergency number they wrote on the email, and nobody answered. I was therefore forced to ask a person I found in the street to help me with the key! I was satisfied only with the cleaning of my room, which was good.
