Impossible to criticise anything; except for the exorbitant price.

Clean, functional, well equipped, excellent instructions, quiet.

Didn’t see owner so felt soulless. VERY expensive for a non en-suite room and no breakfast. I know I made a last minute booking, so maybe it’s just a sad fact of the world we live in, but this definitely isn’t what £100+ accommodation for a single night looks like.

Beautiful room.

Host was very welcoming, friendly and informative. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the view from the window was beautiful. The property is located in a very quiet area within walking distance to the Co-op and a lovely local pub. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Perfect place to stay before exploring the Isle of Skye. Great location and home! Very comfortable!

This was a perfect place for what we needed. Lovely, comfortable home right in Kyle of Lochalsh. Easy to find and close to the Skye bridge, shops and town center. Directions for check in/out were clear but we met the host's son when we arrived who provided recommendations. In the room there was helpful information and it was evident that safety of guests was thought of (emergency info, fire extinguishers, anti-slip bath mats, etc). Great place to stay and we highly recommend staying here.

Immaculately clean, with impressive attention to detail. It was self-check in but the host was there to greet us. Everything is as listed, short walk to shops/places to eat. Conveniently located. Parking is no issue, amenities are as described. Fantastic home stay and great host.

Comfortable base for short stay in Kyle of Lochalsh.

[a] Convenient location, near to local Co-Op which was helpful for shopping each day [b] Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed [c] Helpful, friendly host

[a] Suggested improvement - small fridge to keep milk and drinks cool would be good especially during hot weather. [b] Problem initially getting satellite TV to work - I was fortunate that the host was present during my stay to remedy this for me.

lovely relaxing accommodation

lovely house, spotless and smelt great. would highly recommend, would stay again if I was back up.

free parking is slightly misleading, yes you can park for free but when you book you will get your instructions telling you not to park outside the house but instead at the entrance to the street to respect elderly and disabled residents. I suspect there is in fact an airbnb parking problem that residents don't like as there were signs.. had to park on next street up. room would benefit from blackout blinds.

A little overpriced compared to similar stays, although I chose it due to comparative cheapness in the area. I didn't like CCTV cameras on landing .Fair enough at door. Overly perfumed room.

A great place to stay at!

Very lovely and clean place with little touches and a nice atmosphere. The view from the window is gorgeous! The host was very friendly and we felt very welcomed. The location is nice, very close to Isle of Sky bridge where we were traveling to. 10 out of 10 place.

Lovely view of the loch. The owner (Tony?) was very helpful and supportive as I had to deal with a flat tire on a Saturday evening. A good base for exploring the southern end of Skye. I also recommend visiting the Balmacara Estate located on the same peninsula.

Locotated on a quiet street. The host was very friendly and helpful. The house is spotlessly clean and decorated very nicely. The room was lovely with a great sea view. Just a short walk to the harbour, pubs and shops.

Great location, very handy to local village!

Location was really good, just two minutes down the road from Skye Bridge. Bedroom window looked out across the Loch which was very picturesque. Lovely presented room and everything was very clean including the bathroom.

The option of a second pillow would be really nice.

A clean well equipped property but no human interaction.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The instructions were clear and the view of the loch nearby was wonderful. We were near cafes, a chip shop and a co-op. A good base for exploring Skye and parts of The Highlands. The bed was comfortable with warm bedding. The accommodation suited our purposes for a reasonable price. The shared bathroom did not appear to be used by anyone else on our visit and it was good that there was an extra WC. The cups and plates and mobile were sealed in clingfilm or polythene which might be useful for those still worried about Covid.

The experience was very impersonal with no opportunity to speak to the owner, whoever looked after the property or even other guests. Even phone calls to ask the owner anything were discouraged. Maybe this was unavoidable and could be worked out before booking, but I do prefer somewhere where you are welcomed by a person and breakfast is available. I also like a warm bathroom. There were two heating appliances but even while set on full they were usually cold. I enquired about this. Apparently they are controlled by a thermostat elsewhere which guests have no access to, and it is set to 20 to 22 degrees. It was OK in the bedroom as extra plug in radiators are available for when the heating is off.

Beautiful, relaxing stay

Lovely quiet location with a beautiful view, detailed communication before arrival making check-in a breeze. Everything was clean and well organized, the shower was hot and powerful and fixtures and fittings are modern and in good order.

It is a guesthouse with private rooms still in use by the owners, so it's possible to feel a bit like you're intruding, but they seemed to be away during my stay so it wasn't a problem.

Great location at Kyle of Lochalsh. Within walking distance of the local village and a food Co-Op. Also a short drive to Eilean Donan Castle. The owner Glenn is very friendly and helpful also scenic views from our room.

good place to stay, very tidy. there were two electric heaters if you are feeling cold in the room during the stay also some blankets. there were extra ac adapters in the drawers, and airplugs for sensitive sleepers- thoughtful. really liked the taps in the bathroom for room number 2 - modern design reminded me of waterfalls. although bathroom was really cold (summertime). good view from room number two, great checkout system, no need for extra contact for introvert

Cozy room with exceptional view

The room had all amenities, it was very comfortable and decorated in a good style, and the view is just exceptional! The town is small but has restaurants, a supermarket and a petrol station, everything is 5min walking distance. The location is great if you want to visit the Isle of Skye, it's just next to the Skye bridge. This was super comfortable place to stay, it's especially nice for a couple. The host was also super helpful. Highly recommend this place!
