I like the location

This stay was deeply disappointing and fell far short of basic expectations very hard to find the property as there is no signal anywhere for 1.5 hour The property was noticeably dusty upon arrival and the shower dirty. Towels provided was not enough for 2 people, they asked extra charge for more towels The property was cold and the heating was controlled by the host at her home Hostess refused to turn on the heating more as she said I am in bed .

Lovely one night stay in a lovely clean environment and beautiful location!

The property was beautiful throughout and with everything you could need provided and lots of great communication from the owners. Everything was cleaned and beautifully presented and the instructions on how to get there very clear and easy to fall (I would suggest using the what three words location provided by the owner upon booking).

We couldn't put the heating on in the evening. It had a padlock on the panel which I assumed meant it was locked to 19 degrees. The only other thing is that there's a a step right as you come out of the bedroom door with both of us managed to trip on whilst there. Again in regards to this, I think the owners have done all we can and there is a dim light outside the bedroom door so that you can see. I would still very highly recommend this accommodation.

Delightful accommodation

Leading up to our stay, Leah provided great information and replied to messages very quickly. She was a delightful host, so welcoming. The annexe was gorgeous, comfortable and clean. Leah even provided binoculars for us to use and delicious eggs from their chickens. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely fabulous place to relax and enjoy the highlands.

What a fabulous stay! It was an adventure driving to Glenelg and we were so comfortable at Leah’s cottage. There was plenty of snacks, a couple beers, and a warm spacious home. We enjoyed cooking and warming up. Leah is such a wonderful host.

The location was perfect for exploring both the Isle of Skye and the surrounding Area. My partner and I really enjoyed how cozy the space was.

Fantastic host, incredible view and hospitality

Last minute booking, we were travelling around the highlands and looking on the spur of the moment for a quality place to stay, this was the ideal spot, super friendly and without a doubt value for money, I’d recommend this to everyone (only if they leave it available to me 😜)

Is located on one of the most scenic drives routes. Leah very welcoming, amazing location and the fresh farm eggs provided for breakfast were yummy! Extremely peaceful and great property. Glenelg Inn good spot for dinner.

We loved the sheep and chickens that were outside our windows!

The location is out in the country amongst farmland. It was absolutely beautiful. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved that the host had left fresh eggs for us to cook for breakfast and a couple of snacks next to them. Plenty of kitchenware for us to prepare our meals. The host left clear instructions on how to reach the property since GPS/Sat Nav will send you the wrong way.

The drive over the mountain from the main road is very beautiful. The winding, narrow roads could make someone with motion sickness feel dizzy, but this cannot be avoided unless you take the Skye Ferry service for £ 20 from Kylerhea. This was the worst complaint I could come up with.

Just what myself and my brother needed after a gruelling week.

Leah and Paul were literal angels. I couldn’t have coped without their wonderful caring support. My brother had sciatica and we needed an overnight stay before he was transported back to Essex and luckily they had a vacancy. Anywhere else and I would’ve been in complete pieces. They took over when I was at my lowest ebb and couldn’t have been more kind, welcoming and just generally lovely. The Annex was gorgeous too. A really idyllic, beautiful spot. I may come back next year to attend drams in the field, to create new happier memories of what is a wonderful place.

Comfy place to recover from race

We were staying to take part in a race called Dirty 30 (running) at Glenelg. Loved the house. It was very clean and tidy. Comfy bed, beautiful views across the valley. 5 min drive into the village or 40 min walk. Great lunch at Glenelg Inn. Our hosts Leah and Paul were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Amazing find, this getaway.

Lovely host, beautiful views, cozi appartement. The recommendations of the host on going to the Inn and riding the Ferry were very good ones. We enjoyed both a lot and found a colony of seals on Skye in Ealing distance of the Ferry!

For us longer Dutchies the bed was very short and small. We literally felt a bit cramped waking up. A bigger blanket would have helped a bit with that...

Beautiful homestead, great stopping place before entering the Isle of Skye!

This was the cutest little homestead for our trip to the highlands!!! Came with fresh eggs and a lovely host :) it was cozy and met all of our needs.

Had to double up on socks because the tile floor got pretty cold! But everything else was warm and cozy.

Brilliantly secluded

A great location if you want seclusion. Well off the beaten track up the fascinating "Old Military Road" from Shiel Bridge. Very informative to witness the agility of Highland cattle (a herd of about forty hefty beasts) negotiating the adjacent hillside. Everything we needed was to hand, including friendly advice from our hosts. The property was clean and well-presented - a real home-from-home which really justified a longer stay than the two nights we were there.

The telly didn't seem to work during our stay -but that's probably a bonus.

Off the beaten track- car a must. Took the Gleg Elg ferry to get in,the mountain road out. Stunning
