The house is located in a very quiet area and is well equipped, especially the kitchen. From here you can reach the Isle of Skye in about 30 minutes, and there are also nearby towns with shops and amenities. The place offers plenty of space for up to five people and has two bathrooms, which is particularly convenient for families. Communication with the hosts was always friendly, and they responded quickly. The price felt a bit on the higher side, but that’s understandable given the proximity to a popular tourist area.

The house was clean and has good information on how to use the place. Our kids loved to play around the house, they could do that safe. At night it is a very quiet place, in the morning you can here cars that are passing but you get used to that.
The owner ja very helpfull and sweet. If you habe a quistion she answered them very quickly.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage very much. Everything we needed was there, except the coffee apparatus, we found later in the hall closet funny enough. But that was no problem because we had our own way to make coffee. The cottage is a great starting point for many hill walks and hiking trails in the surroundings. So we had a great time!

The cottage is comfortably furnished and very clean. We loved being able to have a real fire during some wet weather. I found the owner really helpful and got back to me quickly when I had a query. Great location in magnificent scenery.

The cottage is in a great location geographically, with easy access to many places: we walked around Plockton, Morvich, Letterfearn, Glenelg etc. Also visited gardens at Armadale and Atterdale. Comfy beds, well equipped and plenty of space.
The cottage is close to the main road, however, and road noise can be an issue. We're used to using ear plugs at night, so it didn't bother us too much. There is no secure outdoor play area for young children, so they wouldn't be able to play out unsupervised.
Other than that it was a great base for our holiday and the area is stunning.

We had a fantastic holiday at this lovely cottage. It's location is good as you can get out and about quickly to so many places, it's such a beautiful area.
It had everything we needed and the beds were really comfortable. Having a nice cosy fire in the evenings was great. Would definitely recommend.

3m away from a busy main road; ruined the stay. Heard road traffic throughout the night and construction work early morning for weekdays of our week. Even with double glazed windows closed our sleep was very disturbed. Garden extremely unpleasant. Didn’t spend any time out there. Only useful for drying laundry. Very disappointed with our stay at this place. Should have checked it’s location on google map! Would not stay here again or recommend it unfortunately.

This traditional cottage has a homely feel about it. Facilities are modern. The bath was very welcome after walking in the hills. Kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, tableware and utensils. Two bath/shower rooms/toilets were appreciated even with just three staying. I would stay here again.
