Good hotel especially for an overnight/weekend stay.

Stayed here several times before. Rooms have all essentials: hot water kettle, shower, tv and good bed. 100m from the station and tram stop. Generally in the lower price segment for this area too. Nice and well stocked supermarket little further up the street.

This time I had one of the smaller rooms. As a result the location of the shower is somewhat odd. It was a single room so not really an issue. With the window open and the airport really close to the city (30m by tram) some planes flying over the city produce quite a lot of noise up to late in the evening. This obviously applies to every hotel in the area.

Never again

Close to transportation.

No ability to control heating. Following a cold spell, the heating was cranked up and it was so unbearably hot that I had to open the window at night to regulate temperature. Between the noise of planes and someone smoking nearby, I couldn't get uninterrupted night sleeps. Same goes for water temperature. It gets dangerously hot. Upon getting into my room, I noticed some fluff on the floor. I am allergic to dust mites and I started to feel that something wasn't right. I looked under the bed it was covered by the kind of dust you would find behind a chest of drawers. . Upon flagging it to reception, I was told that they would leave a note to the cleaning staff for the morning. I had to ask to be given a vacuum cleaner and do it myself, just so I could breathe comfortably. There is a persistent smell of sewage across the facility.

Great for short stays in the city centre!

The hotel is very conveniently located opposite the central railway station, close to the tram and bus lines which makes it very convenient to get around. The room itself is compact, very clean and and has the basic necessities. Great for short stays in the city.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but others everything else was fine.

Basic clean well located - nice staff annoying him

The room is decent sized and very clean. Location is great - directly across from the train station. Good pillows. Kettle and small fridge were appreciated

The shower is of clear glass and is actually in the room. No modesty here! My room 105 looked out on an air well with the machinery for air conditioning. Couldn’t open the window too much because other rooms had access to the air well space and could traverse it. There was a pulsing hum that was constant and very annoying.

A great hotel in a great location.

The hotel is perfect for a stay in Luxembourg City: it is literally across the road from the main station and perfectly served by public transport (which is free in Luxembourg). The staff are very, very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, and a very roomy shower cabin. An additional nice touch was the fact that the room had a very large safe deposit box (big enough to contain a laptop), air conditioning, and tea/coffee making facilities. I highly recommend it.

The only minor inconvenience was that, as my room was just above an Asian restaurant, next door to the hotel, the smells from the kitchen (mainly fried food smell) was a constant presence. Maybe the use of an odour-neutraliser could help. But it was just a minor thing, and, in fairness, after a few minutes, one gets used to the smell.

well sized rooms, clean, big shower and bathroom

the staff was very stand offish. I was repeatedly email about breakfast however the staff very coldly told me it wasn't in my room. the check in took 15 minutes just for the person at the desk to take a picture of my passport. something that should take less than 15 seconds.

Comfortable great value stay, would stay again

Great location for a stay just before catching a train the next morning. Spotlessly clean, elevator, long checkin/checkout hours. Hard floors so easy to move bags but once you take your shoes off in the room use the disposable slippers. Shower toilet etc all worked fine. Not sound proofed but none of the hotels near the station are. I stayed on a Saturday night and had in interior facing room - no street noise, but I could hear the occasional plane passing overhead. Cactus supermarket an easy walk and lots of restaurants nearby to choose from.

An uncomfortable stay

The staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is centrally and conveniently located right in front of the of Central Station. However, Central Station area is unpleasant: I didn’t feel safe. The room was fairly uncomfortable: the bathroom smelled of sewage, there was no sunlight because the windows overlooked two other buildings, the tap was far from the sink so water would splash and drip outside, the bed was small and the mattress was thin. Although I spent most time outside it was enough for me not to want to stay there next time.

The location is perfect, just 10 min walking to the center and public transport stations very close. The receptionists are very nice.

Pleasant enough

The room was comfortable and quite spacious, comfy bed, good shower. It's right next to the train station and public transport is free so it's ideal

The room had a smell of cigarettes when I first got there which wasn't pleasant. Also I could hear all the noise from the entrance, people talking ect.

Comfortable stay in Penthouse room close to Gare in Luxembourg City

I had the penthouse room, which was very large and comfortable…over 500 square feet. It had a small kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishes, etc. There is a huge patio outside the room that runs maybe 30 on two sides. Large windows. The room was cleaned and straightened up daily…unlike in some hotels that only do cleaning upon request or every couple of days. There are two good size TVs in room with cable, including BBC and CNN. There is a Monoprix grocery store a two minute walk away. The main train station was 3 minutes away by foot. The train station is a transport hub so you can catch trains, buses and trams to anywhere you want to go…and all the transportation is FREE! The hotel does not serve breakfast in the hotel itself, but gives you a voucher for the restaurant at the train station…which has a set of choices that you can make,including eggs, cheese, breads, croissants, coffee, juice. I usually like the buffet type setups but this breakfast was perfectly fine. But you do have to leave the hotel and walk for a few minutes. One thing that would have made the stay even more enjoyable would have been a small table and a few chairs on the deck outside the room. I didn’t have a big need to interact with staff, but when I did they were all very nice. I would happily stay there again. ,

Handy for transport/ sightseeing. Nice hotel

Great Location (opposite the train station, bus and Tram stops. Room was nice and clean, with a comfy bed. Great walk in Shower....... although, it was glass fronted, so you can see into the bathroom from the bedroom......(this was not an issue for me, as I was on my own). Tea & Coffee making facilities, Safe, TV, Mini-Bar, iron, plenty of sockets, Wifi. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic, but fresh. There is a bar next door to the hotel, which is used for breakfast. I had a couple of drinks in the afternoon/ evening, which was nice and they also serve food.

Could be a bit noisy (Music at night, building during the day and the planes fly over really low in this area). I did not venture to far up the street that the hotel is in. Not that it bothered me. you can see into the bathroom from the bedroom, as it has a big glass wall between the 2.

One night in Luxembourg

- The shower clean, modern and functional - The kettle with coffee and tea in the room - The hotel is situated almost in front of the Central railway station and the bus station (buses and trams are free in Luxembourg).

- The really poor wi-fi connection on the fourth floor - Sunday was quiet but there were noisy works under my windows and next to the hotel on Monday morning.

Breakfast was good. The place was modern but room quite small

Terribly loud. No option for early check in. The location was very much central but did not feel safe at all. We worried about our car being vandalized. The street also had only paid and quite expensive parking. We were driving thru and only there for one day so it was just for one night thankfully.
