This hotel is like goldie locks and the three bears 🐻 each room is different. It's a small hotel attached to a 4* restaurant 😋 some rooms are modern some are traditional, the bathrooms all differ. Ask to see another until you get one you like. We had the junior suite with log fire, sunken bath, skylight and large L shaped balcony. The bed was king size and comfortable. There was a large fridge and kitchen area. Plenty of free toiletries provided. The breakfast was really nice. We chose the European plate with coffee and orange juice. We also had lunch on the sunny terrace here which was delicious
Even if not staying here the restaurant is worth the trip.
This hotel is the last building up the mountain. At their door is the walking and hiking trail up to the monetary that's about 6km each way. A lovely marked path walk. You'd come here for weekend or mid week break to hike or walk the many trails.
It's 3km from the sofia ring mall. Its a 15 minute walk into the village center so recommend a car. There are 6 different bus numbers into sofia (sofia has blue parking of 2 hours paid max).
The hotel has a basement indoor swimming pool and sauna.
It holds weddings regularly and we had one. It wasn't a bother and not that noisy (music was actually good). It was all finished by 11pm and it was nice to see.
The swimming pool was cold and no towels (had to get from room). The sauna was only switched on one day out of three. You need to ask in advance to switch on. The Turkish hamman and hot tub were both closed, and looked like they had been for ages but you don't come here to use a basement pool

Pretty clean and nicely furnished
-The staff can barely speak English and unpleasant
-when you need something it seems like you disturbed their peace to do you a favor.. Like asking for company invoice .
-breakfast is served ( 8:00 am) by same straight face reception man. You get to choose from few predefined verities but all of them are small size (no buffet). Asked for yogurt beside normal variant and answer was sharp "no! Only one pick per person!"
- room cleaning is done every two days.
- my room had a missing radiator valve and could not lower the heat. Had to sleep with window opened
- there is a small pool at basement floor but water is a bit cold. Not much of a wellness.
Overall I conisider the property expensive for the offering
