Hotel Villa Garden Braga

Staff were excellent, pool great, free parking, everything very clean, great location for access from main road, blackout curtains very effective, spacious room:

Beds were very hard, breakfast was not very well stocked and room crowded. No staff to welcome you etc

Location was great as was the parking at the hotel which was very helpful.

They had a very small bar and it was manned so quite difficult to get a drink.

Very calm villa and good breakfast. The pool was nice.

The pool should be cleaned twice a time per day by the robot.

A lovely old building but the best think about it was breakfast and the South American lady who looked after it all it such an efficient and hospitable manner. On site car parking was great.

Lots of problems as there was no key access to the room as the card system had broken down. Whenever we went to the room we had to get the receptionist to open the door. Then the lift was not working so had to use staff lift to get suitcases down. The receptionist said 'I'll get you a map of the town' and then there weren't any. A very unimpressive start to our stay. We thought we were given a complimentary glass of wine because of the above but found it on our bill as we were leaving. However they did remove it but this was the only discount for a two star and not four start experience. Eventually the card system was working the night before we left. All a bit rum. Location a bit on the edge and near a busy road.
