Castello Di Gabbiano

This is a magical place with views that absolutely meet every dream you've had of what Tuscany/Chianti will look like. The building was smaller than I expected so there were not a lot of people around, making it feel like you had an almost-private castle to yourselves. Breakfast was delicious. There was no seating in the room but there were lots of seating areas around. They have honesty bars around so you can grab a bottle of wine at any time. The pool and hot tub were both lovely, with great views from the pool area. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful property.

There was little to no staff assistance after a certain point in the day. I was unwell and really needed ice (which they had by the pool,) but the ice was locked and no one was around. There's also no place to grab a snack or quick meal unless you go to the gourmet restaurant. I would highly recommend they have a grab and go area with deli sandwiches or snacks, as it's not a simple task to drive in the area. Make sure you bring snacks/provisions of your own. Our room did not match the pictures I saw when I booked, but we still had a great time.

Glorious 12th century castle with stunning views. The pool is beautiful, hotel is clean and modern. Staff were exceptional.

The restaurant separate to but on the property was not great. We (4adults) had two meals there and we were all disappointed with most menu items. Two guests were sick afterwards.

Castello di Gabbiano was one of the most wonderful place to stay. The staff were fantastic in welcoming you and helping with ideas for sight seeing. The room and facilities were beyond our expectation. We always looked forward to returning 'home' each afternoon and spending time relaxing by the pool or inside the lounge arra5. I hope we can return one day.

The hotel is located the vineyards of Tuscany and has a large garden with beautiful views.

nobody stays at the castle after 6 pm, so you won't be able to find anyone if you need emergency assistance. We requested a reservation at the hotel restaurant for our first night, but no one informed us that the restaurant was 500 meters away from the hotel.
