Great stay at the edge of the petrified forest

Great location at the edge of the forest, so peaceful and calm. The family running the business was extremely nice and helpful and gave us a lot of tips about activities and things to see. We really enjoyed the in place exhibition about the findings in the petrified forest

Great accommodation near Dadia

We spent 5 nights here in April '25 and liked the accommodation quite a lot. The villas are clean, spacious and well-equipped (even the pots were good, I find this is often a problem in such apartments - but here we could actually cook in the kitchen!). The garden is immaculate, we loved to sit outside in the shade after a long day sightseeing. There's a BBQ as well, which we didn't use. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They speak English, so communication was not an issue. Note that although Booking.com states there is a washing machine it's actually a laundry service offered by the hosts. The Petrified Forest is really interesting and it's right next to the villas, so it's perfect to take a walk in the evenings. It's also close to Dadia and the Evros Delta, the village of Lefkimi and the surrounding countryside are nice as well (and great for birdwatching). There are several cats and two friendly dogs - I tend to be a bit wary of dogs, but these two were absolutely adorable! Definitely recommended!

I personally found the bed a bit too much on the soft side - but it depends on what you prefer.

Excellent

The location was exceptional: bordering a pine forest: the smell was really amazing when I have arrived. Very accessible by car (a few km from the E85 road). Efi was very welcoming and helpful. Had the entire bungalow for myself: very spacious, on the ground level, living, dorm space and open space kitchen, and inside there is another level with a few beds that can be used if several people will take the bungalow. Very comfortable bed: not to soft, not too hard. You can have the breakfast/meal outside also as there is a nice space, also one can relax in outside on the chaiselongs looking at the lawn and pine tree forest. On the location I have visited the fossil museum having the explanations given by Efi's son. Also he kindly walked me through the pine forest the day after which I have enjoyed so much. Highly recommended!

Great destination in the middle of forest for Tranquility, silence and peace

Tranquility, nature, quietness, kindness and helpfulness of the host, very safe, peaceful, nice interior design, large veranda, refrigerator (larger and deeper than it seems), very powerful air-conditioning, well cleaned. Very professional host with great recommendations for everything.

amazing peaceful place

We loved absolutely everything there, so nice villa, comfortable, there is everything you need for cooking, barbecue place outside on the terrace, fire place in the house for romantic evenings. I like the interior of the villa, nice bathroom. Bed was comfy, I slept so well. I definitely recommend this place for stay, we even prolonged our stay there. peaceful place, hiking trails around, fresh air, fossil museum in the territory, owners are amazing! friendly and nice, we get good advices from her. 10 stars!

Great base for Evros Delta and Dadia Forest

Self-contained holiday villa in Dadia Forest, perfect for nature lovers and bird watchers. Comfortable, warm, peaceful. Efi and Zacharias were super hosts.

We've had one of the most enjoyable stays we've ever experienced. Can't wait to go back!

An amazing location, with great amenities, and wonderful hosts. The cabins are super comfortable and cozy, suitable for a satisfying stay during any season. The forest surrounding the estate is breathtakingly beautiful and serene, making the location perfect for a healing vacation. You can truly unwind, relax, and leave hectic city life behind. The host, Mr. Zaharias, and his family will go above and beyond to accommodate all your needs and will also give you the greatest tips to tour the region and visit all the must-see locations. He has a deep knowledge of the entire area and he's working on a unique project, setting up one of the most interesting fossil museums you'll ever get to visit.

Eigentlich hübsche Anlage aber auf Grund der Hunde vor Ort kein Schlaf zu finden.

Die Häuschen sind recht hübsch, auf rustikal gemacht, gut funktionierende Heizung, eigentlich ruhige Lage.

Hundegebell fast die ganze Nacht! Die Hunde der Anlage sind nachts draussen. Zwischen 23:00 und 03:30 wurden wir mindestens 8 Mal geweckt, da die Hunde laut bellend losgerannt sind. Man übernachtet um zu schlafen und sich ausruhen zu können. Wachhunde mögen ihre Berechtigung haben, aber nicht in so einer Anlage, wo dies den Gästen den Schlaf raubt. Da die Saison vorbei war gab es einige ‚Baustellen‘.

Heel fijn verblijf.

Hele schattıge bungalows dıe ons deden denken aan de flintstones. Authentieke inrichting en van alle gemakken voorzien. Schone bedden en handdoeken. In een hele rustige groene omgeving waar veel aandacht word besteed aan de natuur. Wij konden na de overnachting weer uitgerust verder met onze reis.

Er viel ons niets tegen alleen de muggen waren erg vervelend.
