Hotel near to Shinkiba station . Comfortable room , good breakfast , good facilities .

Room is compact and clean. Onsite onsen is a plus to relax after a long day. Also a 24hours convenience store to get snacks and essentials. A very convenient and safe location with JR train station and a supermarket within 5mins walk.

Families beware: mould-smelling rooms and unacceptable response We booked two rooms at APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Shiomi. We checked in at approximately 9:00 p.m. and reported the problem around 9:30 p.m. Both rooms had a strong mould smell coming from the air conditioning. The towels, blankets and pillows also smelled mouldy. Reception staff member *** personally inspected the rooms, smelled the problem and took photographs. Manager *** was also involved. The hotel was fully booked and said it could not provide suitable replacement rooms. An air purifier did not solve the problem. Shockingly, we were offered curry powder as compensation and told that, if we were unhappy, we could leave and find another hotel in the middle of the night. We were travelling with children, so this was not a reasonable solution. Because we did not want to risk our children’s health, our entire family slept together in one room, although we had paid for two. The hotel later denied the severity of the issue and rejected our refund request. This was one of our worst hotel experiences. Based on what happened to our family, I cannot recommend this hotel—especially to families travelling with children.
