Scenery, kampung vibes, birds, cats, comfy beds, beautiful.

We were quite nervous about the location as we didn't know what to expect of a village but it worked out well, the bungalows were traditional Malay style wooden construction but very clean and with all essential facilities. We had the shared pool to ourselves as we went in the quieter rainy season. As for the village, traditional Malay and Western style restaurants were within walking distance and English is widely spoken so nothing to fear.

WIFI was flaky but the side effect was much needed electronic detox. d

I loved the location. so close to Cenang yet far away among old Padi fields, the isolation. Loved the design of the chalets using old material and modernizing them as well. Loved the fact there were so many plug points and trust me they were needed. Good and adequate shower facilities. Lots of thought went into the design. I loved the friendly cats that roam the property. The sounds when it rained one night were heavenly.

The air con was either underpowered or unmaintained OR it was just overwhelmed by the fact that it's a wooden hut with lots of holes. It was impossible to nap in the afternoon when it was hot. Thankfully after 2 days the weather changed and got cooler. Yes, the mosquitoes had a field day with me.
