Fabulous family holiday

The location is exceptional and the property was very comfortable with amazing views. The flat is also very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of seating in which to relax. We loved it and had a fabulous holiday. Would recommend.

The entrance is very tight with shallow stairs and does not smell nice. The plumbing is very noisy and the showers were randomly hot, then cold, then hot etc which was annoying. A few things could be spruced up to make this property outstanding.

Review

The apartment was nice, the furniture was of good quality and the linens, the flat and the towels were very clean. It's very well appointed right in the middle of Brodick, lovely views. The owner was lovely. We had an issue with the downstairs door and it was all fixed within 24 hrs.

The flat was lovely but the only thing that really put us off was the entrance stair way. It's badly in need of renovation. The damp is quite bad. It's a shame really as if they renovated that and a freshen up on the decor in the flat it would be a brilliant place.

Location - absolutely perfect as always - couldn't be more perfect on the edge of Brodick Bay and above the Co-op! Clean and well-being laid out with all facilities. Good communication with James the owner as on our previous stays. Highly recommended.

All lovely except our upstairs room with the balcony (which was great), but which had no blackout curtains and/or blinds so we were woken early in the morning with the light. However it must add this was the only negative issue worthy of comment. Otherwise another lovely stay.

Wonderful views and great location

The location was fantastic with fabulous views. Close to local amenities. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and 2 of the bathrooms were very good with huge showers. The apartment is clean and well heated.

The entrance hall/stairway leading to the apartment was dirty, shabby and in need of redecoration. The sofas in the apartment were very badly stained and one of the dining chairs was in a dangerous condition. The kitchen table was also unsteady. The balcony was in a dreadful condition with rusty metal chairs and dirty plastic chairs. The whole place (apart from 2 of the bathrooms) is in need of redecoration. The bedroom on the top floor does not have the same amenities as the other 2.

Stay here!!

The layout of the flat excellent giving the three of us our own bedroom and ensuite.Loved the view from lounge as far as the ferry. Good weather allowed us to enjoy the sunny veranda off bedroom .

The entrance and stairway needed attention. We didn't know what to expect inside!thankfully everything to our satisfaction.

Flat needs a bit of tlc and updating but great location and beautiful views.

Great location. So close to local shops, bakery, Ice cream and the ferry. Lots of nice walks from the flat. Lovely views and nice having a little balcony to chill out on.

Stated as 3 double rooms but one room had 2 single beds, when we asked if this could be changed we were told to "push the beds together" The top floor bedroom only has blinds on 2 of the 3 velux windows and only a thin curtain over the balcony door so it was very light in the morning and evening, hard for us to put our 2 year old daughter to bed in a bright (and very hot) room, we had to use towels and a tablecloth to try and block out some of the light. There's a lot of excess furniture like 3 dining tables and 10 dining chairs but only enough comfy seating for 5 people. Random chairs in the bedrooms which meant not a lot of space in the rooms (especially if you have a travel cot like 2 families of our party did) Couches are a bit dirty, and the flat looks a bit tired with a lot of random pictures on the walls. The entrance stairs smell strongly of damp.

Great place to stay to explore Arran

This flat is in a great location next to the beach and above the local Coop for all your needs. The kitchen is very well equipped and the flat is well laid out.

Comfortable and convenient with interesting views.

Loved watching the ferries come in and out and sitting on the beach watching the sunset. Although the flat is right in Brodick, 2 minutes and you are strolling on the beach out of town. The flat itself is very clean and comfortable and well-equipped.

As the flat is on the main road and right above the co-op, it is a bit noisy in the morning, so may not be ideal for those who want a long lie. The entrance hall smells a bit damp but the flat itself is very nice.

Fabulous

Comfortable, warm, well placed for shops, eating out, bus stops close by. Right on the promenade. Free car parking adjacent. Overall a nice flat. Electric blankets were a nice touch, not needed by our party but would be most useful later in the season.

Entrance staircase smelt damp and musty and in need of of redecorating and cleaning. It didn't create a very good impression when entering the flat for the first time. Smallest bedroom not large enough for an adult.
