The rooms varied considerably, some were renovated, others were not. Unreported rooms had mould and towels were grey.

Always a brilliant place to stay

I stay at this hotel often, and every visit is a great experience. The staff are always wonderful, and on my birthday they went out of their way to sing “Happy Birthday” and even gave me a present — such a thoughtful gesture that made me feel truly valued. Housekeeping are consistently fantastic, always happy to help and keeping everything spotless. The breakfast is really nice each time I stay, and overall the hotel offers excellent value for money. That’s why I keep coming back — highly recommend!

The most cheapest hotel with the very good excellent standard. We are planning to stay here again for the next vacation to Indonesia. The hotel room arrangement was very excellent !!!! Very spacious !!!!

The hotel location { if that is possible } To walk arround there not so much to see, only the traffic. Very much traffic on the special hours. To go somewhere, better with the motorcycle.

The pool was the wonderful and the breakfast really delicious.

Second free-form pool is fantastic. Grounds are well maintained.

Amenities for guests are rubbish. Even basic room amenities like hair dryer, iron, snacking biscuits aren't provided.

Everything: bad service, horrible breakfast, dirtiness, the room was not ready for 4 people as requested, they brought a dirty mattress to put on the floor and charged for it. I tried to call the hotel before arriving to inform them of the time and to confirm the number of guests, but the phone was out of order. The only positive point is that the staff was friendly.

We paid for deluxe rooms, but were downgraded to superior rooms and no compensation was provided.

Great value for money

The staff are always lovely and the breakfast is great.

This time they gave us a room that was a long way from reception and my partner is in a wheelchair. This made it hard for me us l have to do everything for both of us (breakfast etc). Furthermore we did not have a balcony this time and l had no where to sit outside as the loungers where always full.

Great stay at cakra hotel.

Nice hotel. The buffet breakfast is good. Swimming pool is nice, went for a dip on morning before check out. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Outside shopping, is not within walking distant. Our plan was spend whole day out in Ubud and return only at night. So it was up to my expectations. However if you want something to eat there is a KFC and Japanese restaurant 2 doors away, also the hotel restaurant dinner is yummy and good value. For that price it is very good value hotel.

I was in a family deluxe room for 3 persons (1 double and 1 single bed ) with garden view. It has comfortable bed, big bathroom with shower, safe-box, coffee and tea maker facilities and a small fridge in the room. I like their cleanliness, swimming-pool, breakfast, staff, reception, location and park place either for car or motorcycle.

Small towel enquired. Once a while to check if the fridge and washbasin aren't broken.

Great hotel for a conference for 1/2 days but not for a relaxed bali holiday experience.

Beautiful pools, lovely grounds, staff were amazing!

First room (*Deluxe) had obviously had smoking in it, it was dirty, old and ugly with ripped curtains, doors/drawers that didn't open and close properly, no bath mat, or all amenities as expected (in photos) - 2nd room was better with updated decor and walk in shower - but noisy (event/s area) next door but close to the pool - staff were very good and accommodating with moving rooms! Restaurant allowed smoking :( - Buffet breakfast was OK but not much variety for a 4+ night stay. Dinner meals we also OK but not great. Area is on a busy main road and although you are set back you can still hear the traffic - walking anywhere around is difficult with the traffic and state of footpaths - not much of a vibe to the area.

Hidden gem in Denpasar

Everything ! The beautiful gardens, the cat friendly owner, the wonderful staff ( specifically Wahyu) and all the restaurant staff. Chef Sava did everything to make me happy with GF & coeliac safe food. I am so grateful. The pool is deep, clean and wonderful. The room was large, clean, cold air con and had simple amenities for the price we paid. Food and selection was fabulous, and variations every day. We loved being in a secluded hotel, where we wanted for nothing, and only left once. The gardens, and the staff who maintain them regularly, and the pool were very much appreciated. It made them a wonderful ambient place to relax and enjoy.

Leaving . We are already planning on how to return.
